Just there was a guy with the surname 'White' who finished dead on. Could be an explanation for 'Come on White Boy'.
Hmm nah doesn’t look like him in the pics, good spot though

Cool way to work the fake white self-loathing into this!
2/10
I said "come on wide boy" not "come on white boy."
Big difference. Huge.
As for the water trick, don't knock it 'til you try it, lassy.
Complete tool. Reminded me of a guy running about 50-100 meters ahead of me during the Richmond Marathon raising his arms over his head, pumping his fists in"victory" whenever he passed spectators.....He ran 3:05. (yeah, I'm a hobby jogger).

He saw a cute girl running and wanted you to be able to see him for the whole race so stuck near you. He wanted to look alpha and badass when going through the water station to impress you
Lol, maybe I’m fat and ugly. If that was his goal, he’d be annoyed that I talked to a different guy about how weird he was instead of him
Was this a black guy?
Just wow... wrote:

Oh yeah that's a classic - I've seen that happen a couple of times at a parkrun - which is this free 5k in local parks, usually done by the same guys who take their shirts off after a mile and again run hobbyjogger sort of times (21-23 mins)
Is DAE a thing? I know FWIW and LOL and WTF and w/r/t and others, but this is the first time I have seen DAE.

You're obsessed with this man. You're weird, too.

So I did a half this weekend and this guy was running vaguely near me for the first few miles. When we approached a water station at like mile 3, he stayed on the opposite side of the road from the water volunteers, 7 feet away from them, when the path was clear for him to move towards. He held his hand out at the water people and gestured at the water people, grunting, until an elderly volunteer twigged what he meant and literally had to run onto the course and run alongside him for a bit to give him a water bottle.
I was in a half marathon once running next to a tool like this one. We took turns leading the entire race. He kept yelling at the volunteers at the water stations to bring his water out on the course. He also yelled at some of the course officials who were volunteering at the intersections. They were just kids from a local high school volunteering, and it had been raining really hard on them.
Anyway, it nearly killed me to beat him because he was a way better runner than me but the thought of victory taken away from the jerk fueled me. I had run 5 miles prior to the race and the plan was to run my Marathon pace that day as a workout so I messed that whole thing up.
After the finish he came up to me to congratulate me and I acted as though he did not exist.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
