Being fast is necessary for playing high-level soccer, but exceptional speed and endurance won't make up for a lack of soccer skill and technique. Look at Bolt. You could put a top male 400/800 runner on the women's national team and I doubt they would dominate like you might expect.

Wow, she really must've taken Max Kellerman's words to heart

She was a soccer player first and only started running to train for soccer. She is still very active with soccer and would be better right now than 95% to 100% of the women out there.

Of course “she” would. Just like track.

Well if she has world class soccer skills to match her world class speed then she is going to dominate.
Doesn't women's soccer have, um, ball rules?

There is an old article sonewhere that soccer was her first sport but says she was kicked out of soccer due to safety issues.
If she were to join it would be interesting to see if there is an equal outrage from women in that sport.

Equal to what? There is no outrage from women in track over Semenya, the outrage is from a bunch of incels here on LRC because they are jealous that she can actually date women and has more testosterone and more balls than they do.
Since there could be contact, will he need to wear a cup?

Good, she can join that angry looking little purple haired man and celebrate their ambiguity.

I feel like you are tone deaf. Women don't want to compete with those who are not biological women. It is only as recently as the early 80s that womens sports even became a thing. Now we want to fully allow biological males to enter into them? Maybe you should read the posts from women who are commenting on Semenya and June here for a better reference about how women might feel.
I feel bad for Semenya as it is almost certainly the case she presented as a women at birth to Dr's and she was raised accordingly. However, that doesn't expunge the biological reality she is XY. For men who decide to become women, that is certainly their choice. However, it should come at the forfeiture of being able to compete in any competitive sense against biological women. The fact that both trans women and xy women often identify as lesbians should hint at their underlying biology.

News outlets in SA now reporting Semenya has indeed joined a women's professional football (soccer) team, with the intent of debuting in competition in 2020.
Second link has short video of Semenya at first practice with the women's team on Tuesday:
