I’m sorry, but that has got to be embarrassing. Writing a diss track is some high school type $h!t. Come on now, most of these guys are 20. Even if the diss track is supposed to be ironic, it’s not funny enough to be not cringe. Grow up boys.
Maybe I'm out of touch with this generation. But releasing a diss-track about Sacramento BEFORE you've qualified for Sacramento seems just plain stupid. I cannot emphasize this enough. They are really asking to get jinxed, and karma will hit HARD this Saturday. The kid on the team who made this isn't even on their top 5. Kid's a bum. Maybe someone should let coach Rob know because this is embarrassing. If I was a High School commit to Walsh I would seriously re-consider joining a team like this. This trash speaks volumes about their team culture. Sure you can win a couple GMAC championships like this, but you wont build dynasties.
Look at teams like Hillsdale, Malone, and Cedarville. Those boys show up and work hard every race, no trash talk or social media antics necessary. Just check out GreenKetchup's last post, demonstrating just how much Hdale runners improve since HS. You don't see that same thing from Walsh. Consistent improvement is how dynasties are created.
A wise man once said “The boys in the hood are always hard. You come talking that trash, we’ll pull your card.”
