Hey,
That's why I'm asking because I didn't think it was quite enough. I use skim milk on my cereal, and i usually run about 1/2 hr/day + x-train 1/2 hr due to an injury, and lift weights. I am 6', 150lbs and am just looking to maintain.
What would you guys add to make this diet better. I'm asking on this board because it's nice to get a runner's perspective on diet.
Well, if all you are after is sustaining and you're not doing much more than that daily, this could work for you but I'd still add more protein like maybe using a healthy amount of soymilk on the cereal and maybe snacking on yogurt or unsalted almonds; i'd mix in some white fish instead of the chicken occasionaly with a healthy portion of steamed ruffage, ideally spinach, or even a decently light in oil veggie patty.
Of course, when you start adding more to your workouts, you should look at reloading a bit more, I'd start with that breakfast by adding a piece of fruit or maybe whole milk.
