You compared the genetic difference between a Kenyan and a non-Kenyan, with the difference between a human and a cheetah. You are a dangerous and racist sick f***.
Even if Kenyans were the best nation in distance running,suppose you're the #4 Kenyan and going to miss out on the World meets and the dinero, what if you dope to move into top 3? Then the former top 3 realize they need to dope to keep up with former #4, etc.
I have nothing said about different genes of a cheetah and a human...
But, yes, different ethnic groups differ also in there genes. Look, for example, at the skin color of a Kenyan and a Brit. Can you detect some difference?

A liar or unbelievably stupid?
The point went unnoticed by you. Try logic, for once.
In 74 Boit's SB was 1:44.18 - Commonwealth Silver in January
In 76 Boit's SB was 1:43.57. He won the biggest race of the season after the Olympics in Zürich against Van Damme , Wohlhuter, Susanj, Ovett.
For sure he could have won in Montreal.
If Juantorena had broken a leg. Boit never won a major championship or set a world mark. He was in the mix but not the best.
72 Olympic Games - Bronze
74 Commonwealth Games - Silver
76 Olympic Games - boycott, his best season
78 Commonwealth Games - Gold
80 Olympic Games - boycott
After Montreal Boit has won the best race of the season after the Olympics, in Zürich against Van Damme, Wohlhuter, Susanj, Ovett
His seasons best was just 0.07 seconds slower than Juantorena's Montreal world record. For sure Boit could have won in Montreal. You will deny this again, exposing yourself one more time. And not the last time - that's good.
My point is that despite any genetic, geographic or cultural gifts the Kenyan distance runners still feel the need to dope with intent to cheat. Why do you think they find it necessary to cheat at such a high level? (I'm not interested in the 'everyone's doing it' argument. Merely that you may have an opinion rather that rhetoric and vitriol).
If you are really not Coevett it's hard to understand for me that you act like him ("why don't you answer...").
Who are "they"?
Why do people cheat? And you are not Coevett? Not Armstrong? Then we have three? Jesus...
People cheat to get an advantage for themself? You couldn't get this by yourself? The "logic" behind your thinking is so extremely dumb, I still can't believe you are not Coevett.
Coestronglivs "logic": If Kenyans might have some "natural advantage" (genetics, high altitude, nutrition...) then nobody will dope (since anybody will be the next world record holder without doping).

"The genes of a cheetah might differ from yours". Might? You appear unsure about that but in any case you are seeking to compare a cheetah's genes with a human - which you then deny you are doing. Are you like Gollum - in an argument with yourself? In any case, you appear profoundly disturbed.

So if people "cheat to gain an advantage" we see from the Kenyan preponderance of cheating that they do way more of that than anyone else in distance running. They would have sought to gain such an advantage as soon as they entered the sport so we can safely conclude they have always cheated. Thanks for helping to sort that out.

So one race in which he was a winner establishes he was better than an Olympic champion or world record holder? So anyone who at some point gained a win over the best has then become the best - despite having a more consistent losing record against the best (and not winning an Olympic or world championship or setting a world record). You don't know much about the sport, do you?
The only legitimate gold-medallist contender who was missing at Montreal in the distances was Bayi (even though Walker had become the world mile - shattering Bayi's mark - and 2k record holder in 75/76). And Bayi is of course Tanzanian and not Kenyan.

Boit has won dozens of races.
For sure winning one or even many races does not establish someone to be better than an Olympic champion. This sort of reasoning is solely to you and your equally mad friend.
Boit was as fast as Juantorena in 76 and has beaten all the Olympic finalists apart from Juantorena and Wülbeck in the big Zürich race. For sure he could have won the Olympic 800m.

Obviously nonsense. Bayi, Boit, , Yifter, the quadruple world record holder to come you have never heard of. Good chances to medal also for Malan, Nyambui, Ngeno, Kedir.

I thought the adressat to be a Coevett (not sure which species this is), this maybe was wrong, I'm uncertain about it.
Yes, the genes of a cheetah are different from the ones of a human. Even different from the ones of an Armstrong. And different human ethnicities also differ in their genes - you don't like it?

After Olympics is not strong evidence. Guys peak mentally & physically for Olympics. I like Mike Boit but nothing is for sure.
* He could have had his foot stepped on;
* He could have gotten too excited and gone out too fast;
* He could have gotten boxed in from 400m to 700m;
* Boit could have been forced to race in lane 3 from 500m to 700m;
* Boit could have gotten ill in Montreal.
Mike Boit's probability of winning, Olympic 800m, 1976, likely in (33 to 66)% range.

Do you know that he was not allowed to compete in Montreal?
"likely in (33 to 66)% range" - I like such a phrase.
The facts clearly indicate Boit could have won the 800m in Montreal. Would he without the boycott? Only imbeciles like Armstrong and Coevett are going to answer something unanswerable like this (for sure negative).

Just because Armstrong and Coevett often disagree with you does not make you intelligent by default.

For sure me being intelligent or not is independent of the acting of those two. "disagreeing" is the complete wrong word when they deny facts (like some number of records).
Boit in 76 has had the potential to win in Montreal, that's obvious. But with these two such an undeniable fact is basis for endless discussions. Only reason: they don't want it to be true (for whatever reason).
I'll simplify the question, why do YOU think Kenyans cheat more than anyone else if they have the 'genetic gifts' to which you allude. I you don't have an opinion, that's fine, I don't really care.

@Rekrunner - Ovett and Boit raced one week after Montreal over 800m amd Ovett won. The Zurich race was Ovett's 5th race in 8 days and 12th in less than a month. He was exhausted. Boit was fresh, unlike Ovett (and Van Damme). It's unlikely Boit would have medalled in Montreal, let alone be a realistic threat for gold at either distance.
