4 weeks to go to Berlin and not in a bad place. My 5-10k races have been very good but I’m not transferring those to amazing paces for T and MP sessions. Seem to be only able to muster 5:30-5:40 mile pace for T sessions and 5:55-6:05 in the MP sessions. Next 2 weeks want to focus on being fresh for the MP sessions and long runs. Plan is something like the below
Week 9: 80-90 miles Q1: 3*(1k@95% MP, 7.4k@MP) Q2: 22-24 mile @ 6:50
Week 10: 80-90 miles 13.1 mile @ MP either in a session or a race if I can find one Q2: 20+ mile w/ last 5-10k @ MP
I’m drifting towards targeting 2:34:XX at Berlin but will know more in 2 weeks’ time having done those bigger MP sessions.
