The most cringey of track and field attire. Dressing up like a high schooler. Where are the results though?

1:46.33 is solid for his first race in three years. As for the Aden link, I did not believe he was clean in 2012 when he seemed to come out of nowhere to dominate and the example of Rashid Ramzi was still fresh in my mind. Nevertheless, the guy is very entertaining, among the greats all time already with the three Olympic gold/silver medals and among the best 800/1500 combinations of all time at 1:42.61/3:28.75, and so I'll wait to judge until the news is otherwise. I am looking forward to this comeback.
The good thing about him coming back is that there's a chance he'll get popped.
You don't believe he was clean but he's one of the all-time greats and it's good that he's back? LetsRun in a nutshell.
He's probably dirty, yeah, but talk about an entertaining dude. Good-natured with swagger, one of the few dudes with balls to attempt a 800/1500 double. I'll take him over the legions of faceless E. African "teenagers."

I want to believe too. Any tips on ignoring reality?
Yes, unlike you, I do not presume to know that a guy who's been tested for 7+ years MUST BE doping. If he is, well, then, I hope he gets caught. In the meantime, he makes the 8/15 scene more interesting.

I wonder how JAKIR would spin this.

Man, it's literally your JOB to know these things. Do you not follow international track and field much? I'm honestly asking.
letsrun sez: us hear at letsrun aint not about doin no stinkin werk. evin thow we be grate joornawlists, us lets them they're uther riters due all the werk.
When are they going to give Makh the gold he won in Rio? i.e. when are they going to strip the doping cheater centro?

Exactly, Coevette. What the poster believes or not has no impact on the question of who is an all-time great and who isn't. For sure it's great to see an Olympic champion and one of the fastest ever over 800m/1500m back on the track.
Do you know the meaning of the word "believe"? If someone believes something he doesn't know it.

Yes, I kind of am. How does someone that follows int'l athletics as their profession not know something like this? It was even on his company's boards in some semblance fairly recently, as noted above. Hardly "least visible" either- perhaps to Americans on American track forums? TM posts fairly often on his IG and IG story.
Man, you are one of those guys that attacks people and then refuses to ever acknowledge that you are wrong. First off, you are correct, Gault does follow international athletics. Do you know how many athletes that encompasses? There's a lot going on in the world of track and field. Mak daddy hasn't raced for 3 years. Give the guy some slack for not following his instagram on a daily basis.
Check out the 1995 World champs final with Makh Daddy's compatriot, Noureddine Morceli, the new world record holder, just smashing the field to run 1:31 for the last 700 with 55 to 1200 and a last 400 of about 51.2, which included a jog the last ten meters, so he had about a 50 last 400m in his legs in a 3:33 race that could have been mid 3:32. And El Guerrouj, his close friend, at 20 was 2nd.

Oh because no one had ever beat a drug test before. Especially not Lance Armstrong or Marion Jones.

Morceli was the world record holder since 1992.
Where have you heard that El Guerrouj and Morceli were friends?
I honestly thought we may never see Mak Daddy run again. I just figured he got popped for drugs and took some sort of secret deal to just go away. Maybe he served a secret 2 year ban and is off of that now???
Just my two cents, but based off of his jaw structure and facial features he looks INCREDIBLY lean. Almost like Grand Moff Tarkin type sh*t here.

Actually Radcliffe did fail a few tests, but was allowed to "explain" them away and the IAAF (with Coe in charge) cleared her of all wrong doing.
JAKIR - please join in and entertain us. Your "alien baby" posts are all timers.
I thought there was EPO rocket fuel in 1995? Why such slow times? Looks like Morceli was just a beast. El Guerrouj just starting to get strong.
Great to see the WR-holder list: from Herb Elliott to Jim Ryun to Steve Ovett to Morceli to El Guerrouj. GOATS.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
