The irony is that it is Western freedom which has allowed them to spout the anti-Western BS that they do.

Who is 'them' and 'they' ?
She's raising money of course. There isn't a school named in any of the articles I could find, so does it exist? If it does, it's supposedly private, so they can fire her for whatever they like.
A private school chose not to renew a teacher?!
Free market at work. She can work somewhere else if she’s such a great teacher. The only reason why conservatards care is because she “was fired for defending western civ”. It’s hilarious how conservatards rail against public schools and tenure but line up anti free market and pro tenure when it suits them.
Slavery has been around since human history was recorded. Every race has been enslaved and been the slave owners. Slavery still exists in parts of the middle east, Asia, and Africa. The white men of western civilization were the first demographic to abolish slavery in their territories, through force and death of hundreds of thousands of white men for the benefit of those dissimilar to themselves.
But of course you only know about the 250 years of American slavery, and the big bad mean white man. What they do not teach you in school is who the owners of the slave ships and slave markets were (hint: there is a reason Charleston, South Carolina has one of the first synagogues in the US)
Not sure why all this talk of slavery is coming up? If people wanted to complain, they should of complained in 1619-1865, not now, It was a horrible atrocity, It was the norm at the time, EVEN African and Mid East Countries did it. It was wrong, President Lincoln wanted to repatriate the Blacks to Africa, partly because he thought the descendants of slaves would be resentful for generations, President Lincoln also thought they were not the Moral or Intellectual Equals of Whites, but he was wrong on all 3 thoughts and Blacks in the USA Are the most prosperous Blacks in the World, And 99.9999999 percent of Blacks and Whites get along great, In Fact Most Africans who leave Africa would choose the USA First among the Countries they would like to go to, and even the ones who claim to hate the USA do not Leave, because they know the USA is fairest, kindest, nicest and safest Country in the World. When I listen to my favorite song America The Beautiful By Ray Charles you can feel the Patriotism and love of the USA almost everyone has.
not sure if irony or sarcasm
"she was informed that her teaching contract at Le Lycée Français de Los Angeles, a private K-12 school, would not be renewed."
State laws do not govern the tenure process at private schools UNLESS a contract between a private school district and a teacher may provide tenure rights, though enforcement of these rights is related to the contract rights rather than rights granted through the state tenure statute.. The school was within their right not to renew the contract at their discretion.
Let's turn the tables a little bit here. Let’s say you work as a teacher in a Catholic school in Miami and your old friend, who is gay, invites you to New York to attend his same-sex wedding. You attend and snap some photos of this happy event, which you post on Facebook. Guess what? The school can fire you for that.
Let’s say you have another friend who, along with her husband, has struggled to conceive. The couple uses in vitro fertilization and gets good news: They’re going to have a baby. You use Twitter to send a message of congratulations to your friend. Guess? YOU GIT IT! The school can fire you for that too.
Again, as cruel as this is, it might be permissible if the school is privately run and privately funded, religious or secular, etc.
This sh*t is fun. All the hand wringing horse sh*t.

Western civilization being the one of the first civilization to outlaw slave ownership, that civilization?
Well they may have been one of the first in that in 1347 Poland was the first western nation to abolish slavery in all its forms. Earlier bans in other western countries were usually of the form that Christians could not be held as slaves, but members of other religions could.
However, in at least one western nation slavery is acceptable under certain conditions and is written into their constitution:
https://www.archives.gov/files/historical-docs/doc-content/images/13th-amendment-l-b.jpgPassed by Congress on January 31, 1865, and ratified on December 6, 1865, the 13th amendment abolished slavery in the United States and provides that "Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.".
