Nobody has Jakob's number. Jakob is 18 and still nowhere near his peak. Souleiman is 26 (officially) and ran his pbs four years ago. He just pipped Jakob and as the previous poster said, Jakob already has a win over him.
Jakob is still improving a lot. This point last season his 1500 pb was 3:36 and his Mile 3:53. This season he's already solo ran a faster 1500 indoors (Stockholm was a slow race but he ran very well) and bettered his mile time by a second. In last year's Prefontaine Classic he ran a second slower and was over 3 seconds behind the winner Tim. This year he was not only a second faster, but within a second of the same winner Tim.
I predict sub 3:30 at Monaco and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he takes Gold in the 1500 in Doha. He's getting closer and closer to Tim and he's a better championship runner than him.
3/3 this season.
Also Aden's poster boy after makhloufi left the group. Rumor is that Aden is still coaching him.
