There are a lot of people that spend a lot of money on socks. I just buy And1 socks at my local Walmart. I probably get 6 socks for the price of 1 fancy sock. Very rarely if ever get a blister, even in Marathons and 50 mile trail races.

Bit of an outlier but I use Stance running socks a lot. I got one of their subscriptions for my birthday and stocked up on pairs, but they fit really well and are comfortable to the point you don't really feel them. Also, Kalenji makes a few dirt cheap running socks that feel really nice.
I wear Nike dry-fit socks that I got at the local outlet, but I wish there was something thinner so I can wear the better shoes like the ultra narrow Nike Zoom flys or whatever they call those 4% shoes.
- Does anybody have a recommendation for really thin socks?

I've had similar problems as the OP. Large hot spots and blisters on the balls of my feet wearing racing flats (Flyknit racer, Streak Lt, and Streak 6). Going through an assortment of socks, lacing techniques, and taping did nothing to help. I've since retired the Flyknit racer. The Streak 6 is now just a tempo shoe. I still race in the Lt, but only on the roads 5k and less. I wear vaporfly flyknits for longer races. They still feel kind of warm, but I don't think I'm getting the same forefoot strike I did with the others.
P.S. I've heard that better arch support can help alleviate hot spots too, but never tested it.
Im no Sherlock but Nike shoes might not suit you??
Take a look at the new Salomon socks. Not only do they have anti friction coating in the fiber but arch support and most important anti slip silicone threads in the mix at the ball of the foot. Never had many blister issues but only sock I wear now. They do a great job in locking down the foot in a shoe which may have a touch to much volume for my foot. Reviewed them here. https://www.roadtrailrun.com/2019/04/salomon-socks-review-introducing-wide.html
It's more about running enough in your racing flats that they no longer give you blisters.
Otherwise, I vouch for Darn Tough socks to last for ages.

I need a recommendation for running socks. I get blisters easily so I've been wearing anti blister Wright Socks but I feel like they make my feet slide around in my shoes too much when racing. Is there an anti blister solution that also provide some in shoe traction?
If your feet are sliding around inside the shoes then the shoes are too big or too wide. If you have soes that are fitted properly then you should be able to use any socks.

These Salomon socks look very trendy! What about your favorite brand?
For me the very best are the Smartwool Pro Endurance
Using them for 12/24 hour races and trail ultras
Also no matter what socks you use, foot creme is essential.

What foot creme do you use?

For starters: Vaseline
It's cheap and it works.
If you want to spend more money try squirrls nut butter. This gets recommended by the worlds leading blister expert.
https://squirrelsnutbutter.com/https://www.fixingyourfeet.com/I do totally agree with the thought of using foot creme, it's really required. When talking about the brands, I think these Pro socks look more appropriate for running than Salomon socks. Anyway, they both look great. As for me, I don't think it's so important for running. I know one guy who runs in different socks in the morning. One day, I met him after the jogging session. I asked where has he found the socks with his picture, ha-ha. He told me there is a site where you can put your own picture. Even many little pictures of yourself. Is it foolish to go jogging in such socks guys?
I think some people are just lucky with this. I know I could probably run 20 miles with no socks and not get a blister. In fact, I'm struggling to think if I've ever had a blister on either of my feet. Maybe when I trod on that twig back in high school. However... touch the bottom of my foot and you would understand why. It is like a shoe in itself. One time I bought this device to kind of slough off the skin and never again. I mean they are tough. This is why I'm not sure that creme will work because surely it will soften your feet and make them delicate?
I have recently bought a pair of Route40 socks. Would fully recommend. They are graduated compression which means they support muscles during running and help muscle recovery. I decided to get the twin skin socks as you don't get any foot shoe rubbing leading to blisters. You can get 15% off your first pair with promo code 15SHARE. (You do have to click checkout, then put in the promo code on the right of the web page)
you should try champion crew socks, athletic, cushioned & soft, have a look https://www.apparelshopusa.com/champion-performance-crew-length-mens-athletic-socks-678.html
