-a few weeks ago a kid that was literally about 2-4 years old once yelled at me and my friends that we were gay. of course, he was walking w/two middle-aged men who, looking like mature, sophisticated men, probably told him to say that....
-I'm sure someone's already posted this but I haven't looked: "Eat something!"
-about a week ago a group of like 3-4 8-10 year-old girls told me and my friends to "get 'er done"
-just yesterday a little toddler just said "eww" as I ran by him.
-oh and this one's probably been posted too, and I guess isn't really that original, but: "he went that way!"
It seems like the larger the vehicle, the more likely someone will yell at you. Also, you never hear a word out of any foreign car. Just an observation. Does anybody else notice that in some towns you get tons of yells and in others you get none. The towns can be about equal in size and just a few miles apart, wierd.
I had a guy throw a dime at me, I ran him down when he was parking and asked him if he wanted it back, he said, "yes," I threw it at him and he dropped it, so I said, "nice catch" really sarcastically. He had a DWI plate too. A real loser
A kid around 5 years old called me a loser the other day as I ran by. Was that any of you guys?
No, it was my big brother.
Since my highschool was located in downtown Los Angeles, and the streets are usually filled with random people, my team got quite a bit of remarks from people. Can't really remember any of them...but a couple come to mind.
"Damn skinheads!" (Some sort of mixture of rednecks and skin heads) and "You guys wanna smoke some weeeeeed?!"

Jesus. "If this story is true"? If you didn't understand at a glance that the offending account was obviously a joke, who's really the tool? (Don't strain yourself answering.)
i was doing a 6 mile loop around town..shirtless and short shorts. around the 3rd mile, some hot ass girl said,"ill hit that"... hell yeah. thats how i do. then running around a park and a 8-10 year old said," eeeewwwwww u shave ur legs" well of course i had to yell back," shoot my legs look DAMN GOOD SISTER."
he's doing it to YOUR mother, douche.
A few weeks ago three of us were running through a park shirtless in our short shorts. We stopped for a drink, and a little girl at the park started yelling "Mommy, the boys in their underwear are here!!!" over and over. I got a good laugh.

How is "Damn skinheads" a mixture of "rednecks" and "skin heads"? Wouldn't that be "skin necks" or "red heads"?
this all happened to me in one run a couple years ago:
1) I was running down a highway and passed an old man standing in the front yard of a house. He looked at me with bewilderment at first, then shouted enthusiastically, "Hey, you lost your horse!"
2) Was running on a sidewalk and passed a house with a bunch of kids and a woman in the front yard. One of the kids looks at me, then exclaims to the woman, "mommy, he's naked!" (I know it's already been said, but it was funny)
3) Same run - still running on the sidewalk when I see a rather obese woman crossing the street. Our paths are going to cross at exactly the same time, so she starts "running" (more like a fast waddle), gets across the sidewalk in front of me, faces me as I'm coming up to her and motions elegantly with her arm as if to say "come on through". I think she had a crush on me. I didn't have a crush on her. :-)

Or more accurately, she would have crushed you.
I got "Carry the torch loser" from a bunch of middle school kids.
During a hard training run one summer, a car came cruising up beside me and stopped. Two guys jumped out, started running at me, and one of them yelled, "WHERE'S THE FIRE, SON?!?"
I was both terrified and incredibly irritated at the time, but it was funny afterwards.
The best heckle I've ever received was when a former coach drove by me and yelled "Get a life!"
Someone tried to hit me with his car one winter because he thought I'd poisoned his dogs. After running me into a snowbank he got out of the car and stalked towards me. I quickly realized he was like 5-9, so I just ran right up to him, and put my middle finger 6" in front of his face until he got back into his car.
I didn't know why he was trying to hit me until a few months later. But I figured that anger was the best way to go.
OK, this is not a comment while I was running, but:
I worked at a place where smokers had to go outside to smoke. It was a huge factory with people working 24 hours a day. I used to run by it all the time.
It was winter, snowing, sleeting, COLD, I ran by a group of smokers outside the factory.
The next day, one of the smokers, in all of his obesity, told me I was going to freeze my lungs if I ran in the cold. I said, "yeah, and being fat and smoking is good for you."
Oh yeah, forgot this one. I was running on the sidewalk here in town last summer and came up on some high school rejects. They always gave me shit, usually about my shorts, but this time the whole group (maybe 5 kids, guys and girls) starts singing that "short shorts" song. I got a little irritated at the time, but looking back now, it's a pretty damn funny thought.

Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
