He needs to start spelling it "Jäger" and pronouncing it like Chuck Yeager. That will reestablish his credibility.
He can do that to repay this sage advice: dude, you bounce too much! You'll never have a kick unless you can increase your cadence. Research the gravitational constant of the universe.
That pronunciation would echo in the mead Yule halls... (its Icelandic for “I am”)
His biomechanics are fine, in fact the opposite is true, his physical form is most excellent.

He’s a 30 year old runner now so limiting racing is smart. Lots of racing hurts training anyway. I’m sure his sponsor is more concerned about his performance at worlds and less concerned about meaningless meets.
With great physical form comes increased work and responsibility to maintain it. The recovery requirements are greater. With age and increased physiological sophistication, athletes must warm up more and the engineering has to be on point in order for training to be both safe and effective. Most lament it as a sign of old age but in part, the perspective must be different. It is a sign of Peak and Ripe age and boundless possibility, and the wielding of talent and power.
Also have to remember that, the real young jocks don’t have to worry as much, usually, about family responsibilities and financial planning and decisions.
In contrast with some of the mild innocent opinions about his boring schedule and poor form, I’d say that he is so talented and of such form that it creates pressure. There was probably some expectation that he would be phenomenal also in the mile and 5k. That expectation can be unhealthy. He certainly has years left to devote to those events or perhaps the marathon. Focusing on one event for now is probably best.
