Hey guys. I'll be going into my junior year of XC this year, and I have some very big goals for the season. Last season, I ran 18:51.7 (hilly course but good conditions otherwise) off of 35mpw tops with the combination of XC practice and a 3mi easy run on Saturdays. I didn't double once last season. This year, I plan to build up to 50-60mpw by doing doubles most days and running at least once, if not twice, during the weekends (4-5mi on each day for weekends runs). Is this enough for me to push past the 17 minute barrier? Or should I be doing more? Any criticism and/or advice is helpful!
