Actually my point is, if you are going to claim she doesn't look feminine, then you better actually prove that. She does look more feminine than the other runners she is up against, at least she has breasts... And I have to strongly agree with the other poster that you have CROSSED the line attacking this student athlete. If you have a problem with the NCAA rules, take it up with them, not this particular woman.
The athlete isn't an employee acting at the direction of the NCAA; he/she is an autonomous individual who has chosen to compete against women. You're responsible for the choices you make. You can be fairly criticised for those choices, just as you are now criticising Rojo for the comments he has made. As far as I'm concerned, the appearance of the athlete involved is irrelevant; it is that she/he is a biological male competing against women which I think is wrong, and so I also think the NCAA is wrong, and would criticise them for their permitting it.
You are so ignorant. The athlete is legally now a female. If she wants to compete in sports, it has to be in the women's division. Anyone that doesn't allow her to compete in the gender she legally belongs to would be guilty of gender discrimination. You can thank the PC liberals for making all of this possible.
Most real doctors (not fake PC doctors) say transgenderism is a mental illness. That's evidenced by the fact that the transgender suicide rate is sky high. You are criticizing someone who can't help what they are thinking. It's like insulting the paranoid schizophrenic for being afraid that everyone is out to kill him.
Your ignorance is greater. The athlete can choose to compete as a male, just as the NCAA allows her to compete as a female - "allows", not requires. Suggesting the athlete is mentally ill, like a schizophrenic, is unfounded and is worse than criticising him/her for her choice and is a reflection of your own degree of prejudice.
The American Psychiatric Association refers to it as a mental disorder. All scientific evidence points to the same thing. 41% of transgender people attempt suicide. If we don't take care of our mental health, a lot of transgender people are going to die of suicide. We can't afford to pretend it's not a mental disorder when so much is at stake.
Can you point to where the NCAA says it allows people to compete in the opposite gender that they legally belong to? There must be a specific bylaw, right?
