Rumors are wrong. The NAZ athletes aren't living in large houses making "next to nothing". Jim is on a $50,000 base contract and $20,000 capped bonuses (excluding a few major races). Western States paid $15,000 for the win and $5,000 for the course record.

If the vapor fly got all of its pop from a carbon fiber shank, then you'd get the same 4% reaction from the carbon rocket and the zoom fly flyknit. What makes the Zoom X so special is how it is soft and still provides energy return. Try the Zoom Fly Flyknit, (which has a carbon fiber plate) and then try the vaporfly. They are not the same.

The carbon rocket has shown a similar advantage as the VF4. I've never seen anyone do a study on the zoom fly flyknit.
