Are low sodium, low blood pressure, and/or low blood sugar normal parts of calorie deficit dieting? Obviously low blood sugar is, and I had some mild dizziness before my run, but I really struggled with my heart working too hard on my run today.
Does anybody have any wisdom? In a recent thread it was noted that slow resting heart rate and rapid running heart rate are symptoms of low sodium, which I probably have as well.
And what are the running effects of low blood sugar? While on a diet, is it more important to get a big dose of sugar before a run?
Thanks very much.
