What can you tell me about this men's program. I know they recently moved up to D1 but man they look like a great program for someone that's running 4:40 indoors as a junior. When I get that to 4:28 this spring I should be a great fit right?

sure dude, hopefully you do get that to a 4:28, but maybe you won't. i trained my butt off in high school after running a 4:40 indoors a few times and never broke 4:30 outdoors. It was a super bummer, but go talk to the coach! I have a friend who ran her freshman year at the d3 school I'm at and she's walking on at abilene. most fun you'll have is going to talk to the coach and hanging out with the guys on campus and you'll get a good taste of what it is like.
I attended ACU a long time ago. The program was considerably better, though heavy with foreigners. The main question you have to ask yourself is if you would enjoy attending a fundamentalist and conservative school. Because of my upbringing it didn't bother me, but just be sure what you're signing up for.
I have similar thoughts as LtM. I am also an ACU grad, although I didn't run there. I had a lot of fun and really enjoyed my time there, but it certainly helped that I was quite a religious nutcase at the time.
The girls are hot. Abilene is what you make it. Harold's BBQ is no longer there, which is a real tragedy.
