The $2 million Super Bowl bet placed Thursday @MGMRaceSports was on the Rams moneyline at +120. There have been two reported million-dollar-plus bets on the Super Bowl at this point; both on the Rams moneyline. MGM bet was first-reported by @beatingthebook.
How much are you betting on the Patriots to lose SB53 (LIII)?

Always a-nother sucka borne ev'ry minute.
Take the Pats, I guarantee it. -
Over/under is where the smart money (always) is.

The American Gaming Association estimates Americans will bet approximately $6 billion on Super Bowl LIII.
That figure is well above last year's figure of $4.76 billion the AGA estimated was bet on the Big Game a year ago. Last year the AGA estimated about 97 percent of the money wagered was done so illegally, and it is safe to say most of that $6B figure is comprised by illegal bets as well.
Last year more money was wagered on the Super Bowl in Nevada sportbooks than ever before, with the total handle exceeding $158.5 million.

0. Never bet against a team you hate. It's like double losing if they win and you'll be plenty happy if they lose, no need for $$ on the line.

Yesterday Mr. X placed a $300,000, a $1.5 million, and a $2 million bet - all favoring the Rams.
Mr. X won $22 million last year with his various bets favoring Philly. -
True - always smart to do an emotional hedge (if you win the bet you are sad "your" team lost; lose the bet you are consoled by your team's victory).

1/ Per @MGMRaceSports @scottatmirage on NE-LAR #SuperBowl: "First and foremost, we are so lucky we took that $2 million bet from Bettor X. When he made that bet, the Rams were +120 on the moneyline. Now, they’re +125."
2/ Per @MGMRaceSports @scottatmirage on NE-LAR #SuperBowl: "Patriots money coming in is just unbelievable. Since Friday night, the Patriots’ moneyline had 3 different customers bet combined $1.9 million, and one of those bettors forked out another $220K on Patriots -2.5.” @Covers
3/ Per @MGMRaceSports @scottatmirage on #SuperBowl: MGM books still at Patriots -2.5. Moneyline ticked back to Pats -140/Rams +120 overnight. “On Saturday morning, we were winner no matter what. Now, we’re significant loser to Patriots. Pats/Over is worst-case scenario.” @Covers
4/ Per @MGMRaceSports @scottatmirage on #SuperBowl: “We’re rooting for the $2 million bettor to win. That’s better than Patriots covering. If Pats win by 1 or 2, it could be our best Super Bowl ever. It has that potential. But if Bettor X wins, we’re fine with that, too.” @Covers -

Super Bowl best of all worlds. East Coast street bookies at Pats -3. Offshore moneyline as low as -123. Bet Rams or Pats or both.
This is a great country. -
I am betting a co-worker a large pizza with the works. I have the Rams + 6.5
-
The betting line has settled with the Patriots a -2.5-point favorite over the Rams at sportsbooks across Nevada and New Jersey. William Hill and Golden Nugget were showing a line of -3 until Friday afternoon when both moved back to -2.5. Major offshore sportsbook BookMaker has moved to Patriots -2 along with Wynn Las Vegas. The game opened pick 'em at many locations but an avalanche of early bets on the Patriots moved the line up to -2.5. The over/under or total on the game is 56.5, and the moneyline is Patriots -140 and Rams +120 at a majority of sportsbooks. Now nearing 24 hours before kickoff and the Patriots have taken 75% of the spread bets according to SportsInsights and their reporting from a consensus of seven leading online sportsbooks. -
The MGM and their affiliate properties report that 66% of the spread bets are on the Patriots and 71% of the moneyline wagers are on the Rams as of late Friday.
-
Based on the playoff odds simulation equation, which itself is based on weighted DVOA, the Patriots have a 50.1 percent chance to win this game.
-
The best online sportsbooks are hanging odds of +700 on the Los Angeles Rams to win the Super Bowl a year from now.
It’s not mere coincidence that LA is tied with the Patriots as the top choice to win again in the 2019 season ... -

It was a bad bet. The Patriots going to win. They already beat KC, the best team in the league. Everyone wants to bet against the favorite. They're going to lose a lot of money.
-
I think by far the best bet was -1400 on the Rams not winning every quarter.

Yep, big win for Vegas on the Under wrote:

WAY, WAY Under Wins
And history of how wrong the +/- ever was -
I believe in statistics. If you check (https://777score.ng/) you will agree with me that they have no chances this time.
