Just heard from someone who is there and said a little over an hour before the start and no wind and 54 degrees = so perfect weather

The live stream on Youtube will start in 4 hours, at 6:30 am.

Absolutely love Thursday evening races (our time). Especially those with quality professional broadcasts. Settling in for what should be a great hour of racing. I'll take Hadis for the win. Curious to see how Desisa backs up his NYC win and hoping to see Wanders get under 60.

2016 world champ Peres Jepchirchir has been dropped after 5k. Lead group of 5, which includes 2018 world champ Netsanet Gudeta, hit 5k at 15:32, which is 65:32 pace.

Weather is AMAZING.

54 degrees, 65% humidity, 3 mph wind at start. Hutchings said the dew point is 4 C (39.2) which is ideal.

Women’s race

15:32 at 5k. Lead pack of 5 plus rabbits: Gudeta, Azimeraw, Teferi, Jemeli, Yimer. 65:32 pace

Jepchirchir in second pack at 15:44

14:13 at 5K for the men. A little slower than they wanted. Going to have to pick it up to have a shot a good times.
