Hi guys,
I have plantar fasciitis and bad Achilles tendonitis.
Wearing shoes is nearly unbearable because of the Achilles tendonitis. The back of the shoe irritates my Achilles to no end. Especially when driving. I've been relegated to wearing slippers most of the time because of this.
I haven't been able to wear orthotics in my shoes because they raise my foot in the shoe and make my Achilles hurt even more. My PF is pretty bad I should be wearing orthotics.
I just got custom orthotics that feel pretty good, but there is still that Achilles issue.
I'm looking for a shoe with no heel Counter, and with a deep fit that will accommodate orthotics, that I can wear everyday. Good cushioning is a plus. I have wide feet with a pretty low arch, though not entirely flat.
I've tried the cutting a hole business, but that didn't work for me. I don't have bursitis. It's a tight Achilles and a heel spur at the back there.
Can anyone recommend a shoe with no heel Counter, wide, deep fit, that's good for orthotics, that I can buy in 2019?
Appreciate the Help.
