70% marginal tax rate over $10million.
Very different than what you are implying.

What a sad little man to be afraid of a skinny girl.
No need to fear AOC, we already have had President's who have extremely similar ideology to her like Truman and JFK, I am sure her ideas are based on reading about those 2 former Presidents, There is NO WAY her ideas mirrors JFK's that close by coincidence , When she becomes President in 2028 I will not be surprised at all if in her inauguration speech she uses the line Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.

She's part of NY city, the most populous city in the entire nation. How are those not 'actual Americans'? Who is considered an 'actual American' in your book?

Her tag line will be “Ask not what you can do for your country, ask what the rich can do for the country.”

Real, actual Americans live in the south, parts of the midwest, and Wyoming and North Dakota. They work real jobs like mining clean, beautiful coal. If they can't mine beautiful coal, they take government disability. They're not takers though -- the takers are the immigrants. The brown people like AOC.

While I agree she is a nutjob, this is not EXACTLY correct. What she proposed is that any income over $10 million would be taxed at 70%. In other words, if some NBA player made $17 million in 2019, then he would be taxed 70% x $7,000,000 or $4.9 million, not $11.9 million like you are misinterpreting.
Republicans will be defending 22 Senate seats while Democrats have 12 up for election.
The red seats that could change blue are:
AZ (McSally just lost to a Democrat and could lose to another)
CO
GA (yes, Georgia)
ME (Susan Collins voted Kavanugh in)
MT maybe. They other Senator is a dem
NC is ready to go blue
TN is up for grabs but probably won't go blue
WV has a small chance to change
Sure, AL will probably go back to being red. But that's the only one the Dems will likely lose.
And Nancy will retire and give the gavel to AOC!
She'll still be too young to be third in line for the presidency, though.
But she will only allow extreme leftist votes to come to the floor.
So my kids will have free housing when they get out of their free college.
And Trump's heirs will pay for it.
I can't wait until she is my and my 500 million fellow American's President!

We all know the answer. I think he thinks it doesn't count as racism if he doesn't say it outright.

People who have American values. And you already know what those values are so don't ask for a definition. Think the opposite of the NYC Mayor if you are struggling.

Add--as another posted noted, based on AGI. People making over $10 million AGI have written off a huge amount of money before getting down to the AGI line on their tax return.

She doesn't have new ideas. She's spouting old, failed ideas.
One of the things that helped get Trump elected was all of the free media he received from coverage calling him out for his craziness.
AOC is getting all of the attention and free publicity now from the right.
They are giving her a high profile and some power that goes with it.

American values like slavery, lack of voting for women, prohibition, segregation, racist sentencing. The American values you refer to are along the lines of "I did it so everyone else can" and "the system worked for me, so there's nothing that needs changing."
People have different roadblocks and our system is definitely not equal, but our president wants to "Make American Great Again". Please tell me when America was great for minorities, both ethnic and those with differing opinions.
Getting in on this thread while my popcorn pops.

And white men are officially afraid of AOC. Why does she scare you guys so much? Not what you're used to, huh?
Not scared. Just infatuated with the stupidity of the people that vote for her or see her as some type of idol. Don't confuse fear with curiosity. I know it makes you feel big to convince yourself that white men are fading away and scared of a latin lady, but you're only setting yourself up for disappointment. We still run the world.
Check your wallet and see if you run the world.
When my municipal utility lost it's long term coal purchase agreement and was forced by the state PUC to convert all of its generating capacity to natural gas fired turbines, some wind and solar, our electric rates increased by 80% which resulted in 7% of the population having their electricity cutoff. And I am sure some of those people died or went homeless. What Ocasio-Cortez fails to recognize is that abrupt action to address climate change like she is asking for will have dire human consequences as well. Ultimately the only way to truly address climate change is taxing fuels to the point that the renewable alternative is cost competitive, and when you do that people (especially the poor and elderly) will suffer. You want to talk about people living in their cars? The type of climate action that she is calling for will create more of that, not less. You cannot simultaneously address climate change and make things affordable for all at the same time.
All the terror over AOC is hilarious.
The letsrun crowd of affluent white males who have hours over lunch break to post on here will never be able to understand the importance of the message she is using her massive reach to spread.
If you honestly can't understand how 1) her proposed tax bracket would work (and likely impact near to none of you who are rich but not THAT rich) or 2) aren't aware of how critical climate change legislation is, you aren't a serious person and you shouldn't comment on policy and politics.
Stick to trying to figure out what hobby jogger might have cheated getting into Boston.

Exactly
Now on the climate topic, in 2006 we only had 10 years to save the planet, and in 2019 we have 12 years left. Enough said
