Male, 48, 132 lbs

Goal: Sub 2:40, Houston Marathon
I had a good week, despite my top-of-the-foot pain. I think my Hoka Arahis with Lydiard lacing are helping, as my foot felt almost 100% from Tuesday through Saturday morning. It then strangely resurfaced after my easy Saturday run, and I felt it a bit on today's long run. But it feels 90% right now.
Total: 91 miles
Monday: 3 easy on TM (top of right foot started to hurt, so I stopped short of my planned 4 miles. Should've just rested)
Tuesday: 11.5, with 4 x 800 and 2 x 1 mile (on treadmill; 5:30ish for 800s, 5:40ish for miles)
Wednesday: am: 7 easy, pm: 9 easy
Thursday: 12 easy
Friday: am: 11, with 2 x 3 mile at 5:45 avg. on a course with some gentle hills; pm: 3.5 easy
Saturday: 12 easy
Sunday: 22 at fairly easy pace (7:12 average, most miles were 6:50s)
I was pretty happy with my Friday workout, as I don't have a lot of speed and am trying to lower my LT. I will try to increase the workout volume, but didn't want to push the envelope with my foot issue and the increased mileage.
Bacon: I'm intrigued by Tinman's training, and will be watching your weeks with interest.
Puto: Congrats on the sub 40! I vividly recall my first time, and how hard I had to work that last mile. It was so worth it.
Slo-twitch: I guess I'll see you in Houston. Nice tempo on Friday!
Stone: And you too in Houston. No pressure for this race, though. Or a different kind of pressure.
AJ: Very impressive week. Looks like our goals are similar, but I can't touch your speed.
OR: Great finish on today's run.
Sub 6: Are you in Ann Arbor? Nice week.
Urban: Nice tempo run.
Jewbacca. Nice week. Keep that PR in sight!
