I know I don't contribute much to the thread but I seriously enjoy reading all this stuff. It makes me realise how completely unstructured my own training is - from a theoretical standpoint. I don't use phases, which I guess is a big part of it, since I race all the time.
But it's fascinating to read about all the different ideas at play. How complex or simple it could be.
No idea if my training fits with a specific philosophy or not (probably not) but it does make me wonder what kind of little tweaks I should be making and which type of workouts I should be running at which times.
