Society used to have "unbreakable" boundaries about apartheid in sports, claiming that one race had a "natural talent advantage" or whatever against the others, so it would "patently unfair" to merge their competition or whatever nonsense terminology you want to use.
They even disparagingly compared diverse humanity to "dog breeds" to make their point, saying that a chihuahua couldn't fight a Doberman fairly.
This is only an upside-down twi-lit zone if you cling to your bigoted bias.
Exactly, this is why this is such an important Human Rights issue.
I'm glad Canada has taken the World leadership in this dire important task.
I’m starting to feel that I agree with the earlier poster who said that such behavior evidences a mental illness.

Great news for men. Very comforting to know I can identify as a woman if I can't find success as a man.
I truly have no words for this. The world has gone mad!

No, Tony Bark has gone mad.
She has convinced herself that being a trans woman is a natural advantage like height or jumping ability is for a basketball player.
Men gave women a special category in sports in which they could be competitive, and men can take it away (and are). Women have no one to blame but themselves and their newly transgendered "members" if they support this type of thing.
The UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) changed its policy on including transgender athletes last year following a lawsuit by Canadian transgender cyclist Kristen Worley. Before the final Sunday, Ms. McKinnon set a world record in the quarterfinals, riding 200 meters in 11.92 seconds. Her record didn’t stand for long, however, as it was beaten 10 minutes later, Canadian Cycling Magazine reported.
https://cyclingmagazine.ca/sections/news/canadian-becomes-first-transgender-women-to-win-a-female-world-title-on-the-track/I broke the 200m WORLD RECORD this morning. It was my first indoor 200m and I have to admit that my 11.92 was significantly slower than I was doing outdoors in the summer. I still need time to get comfortable and save maximum energy in the windup. Unfortunately my record lasted 10min before I was beaten by 0.031s. I'm still super happy though. I'm safely through to the semi finals tomorrow afternoon.

Oh and I was right. Professor of philosophy. I think she should take a ride over to the science building some time for a some research on the athletic advantages of biological males.
It seemed that most of the students who were suddenly transitioning were biological females who were smart but socially awkward. They revealed their identities as trans men, usually through a haircut and new wardrobe, followed by a Facebook post alerting associates to a name and pronoun change. They would soon take to social media, student forums, and classroom discussions to rant about “cis privilege,” how oppressed they are because they get stared at by strangers, how they want to assault people who misgender them, and how in love with their “queer” identities they are.
I find it biologically and statistically improbable that all of these people, born at around the same time, were actually “born in the wrong body.” I find it strange that they think they need hormones and surgery that will sterilize them permanently. What seems obvious to me is that they are uncomfortable with their bodies, suffer from other issues like anxiety and depression, and see the attention and attractiveness of transition as a way out.
What I don’t understand is why all of my friends act like this is normal. Am I really the only one who has concerns? Or is everyone as scared as I am to say something?
https://4thwavenow.com/2018/10/02/theres-a-sudden-surge-of-trans-students-coming-out-at-my-college-and-im-scared-to-talk-about-it/I support this human in her quest. Hopefully it will endlich the ridiculous practice of awarding one group of humans the same prices for example for a 11 seconds 100m others would need to run 10 seconds for

Either way Canada must be giving professorships away. Unlike Dr. Rachel's, my PhD is in the biological sciences and I am able to construct a grammatical sentence, not to mention demonstrate the proper use of a syllogism. It's a shame she cannot.
It's just a ruse, so he can share the same changing rooms as the women.
I'm not sure if I have more contempt for these frauds competing as women or boys competing against/with girls in field hockey or other sports.

College of Charleston is in Charleston, South Carolina. But she did atten college in Canada.
In that interview she makes this statement
"We see that 1/6 of elite male track and field athletes have lower than the average female testosterone yet they perform at a higher level, so it’s not just about testosterone"
Does anyone have a source for that claim?
I found this published
"There are very limited published data on endocrine profiles in sport, most being confined to a single sport. One unexpected finding of Healy et al. [1] was that 16.5% of male elite athletes had testosterone concentrations less than the lower limit of the laboratory reference range for ‘normal’ men"
