I live in Louisiana, and the only time I can run is during my lunch hour. I have a new baby so when I get off of work I want to get home. Also, my wife is a nurse and works nights, so I can't run in the evening anyways. And the mornings are not good either. So will running at noon everyday help me or hurt me in the long run.
Thanks, NOrunner
Having lived in the south, I'll say no, it will not help! However, convince yourself that it is making you a tough SOB. Also, mentally, treat it as altitude training. These mental games at least got me through it. When you finally do get a break in October, it will definitely 'feel' easier although your times will be relatively the same. I feel for you, but am jealous in the winter months. Stay tough!
