A couple years ago I had purchased a pair of Clifton 3s, but after about 100 miles on them the front part of my knees hurt so bad I could barely run.
Switched back to my other shoes and I was good after a couple days.
I liked he lightweight and soft feel of the Hokas, and am contemplating purchasing the Mach to help prepare for an early spring half.
Since I have tried the Hoka, I have went through a few pairs of Saucony triumph isos, Adidas ultraboosts and am currently am wearing my second pair of Launch 5s, and have about 550 miles on them. The Launches have probably been my favorite instead of the higher dollar shoes for some reason. Never have had an issue with the Launches, but not sure how I will be feeling after some long runs in them.
Can anyone offer any words of advice on whether to make the stupid leap to Hokas again, or just stay with the Launches? I live in a very rural area with no shoe stores around to actually try some on.
