No, I eat only in a eight hour window. So my first meal is at noon and second meal at around 7:00 pm with a snack before my evening run. One thing I've noticed is that I only eat when I'm actually hungry now. Before I just ate breakfast because that is what we were told to do. But I'm never hungry when I first wake up in the morning. So why should one eat when they aren't hungry? Besides technically I'm not skipping breakfast since I do eat i.e. breaking my fast.

Dry humor is wasted on these threads... (see above)

For you maybe.
Ignore this person txRUNNERgirl. I agree with everything you say. I think your philosophy is the best. It is not sustainable to starve yourself like Cathy the 13 yr old runner girl was trying to do. I like to have my banana bread and eat it to. Maybe we can go for a meal someday, or at least a coffee. That would be nice.
Is txRUNNERgirl BB's soul mate? Or just him on another account.

This is going to work as long as your bodyfat is in a non-critical range. Once it drops and you are back to a competitive running weight an intermitting fasting diet is very hard to sustain. Hungry all the time and binge-prone in the evening just to wake up starving again.

Not sustainable and you'll end up gaining back the weight and more later when your body plays catchup. But you do you.
I eat nothing before 4pm everyday. I've only been doing it for 5 years ago, so let me know how long I can do it before it becomes unsustainable.
Why don't you ask Age Group World Record holder Nolan Shaheed, he's certainly been eating this way for decades:

How many age group world records do you own? See link above?
If INTERMITTENT fasting (again, if you’re calling it “intermediate” OP, best to learn a little more about it) works for YOU then awesome, it will likely be sustainable for you.
Time and time again, research demonstrates that the best diet for weight loss or maintenance is simply the one you are able to stick that has a calorie reduction/maintenance.
As an athlete, find what you can sustain while meeting your macro- and micronutrient targets. For some it may be HFLC. For some a balance of macros. Don’t overthink it. Have fun, eat well, work hard, and let your body and mind recover and adapt to stress.

Yeah I'm pretty sure his diet is responsible for the running success...Throwing Intermittent Fasting at individuals under a heavy training regimen is just another stress factor without much benefit. Eat right and weight will come down to a reasonable number. Keep on the last 2 pounds, you dont need to play this risky game to win an olympic medal or become world champion by the margin of 4 metres. I'll gladly accept the extra 5 seconds to my 10k time for the benefit of not feeling like sht for weeks and being more durable.
