Interesting. How do you like them?
I am not sure...
I have run in them 3 times.
I have felt awful all 3 times.
Not sure if that is a result of the shoes, or the fact that I am a Nancy.
I saw those in a recent catalog we got in the mail, and I thought about it. Pretty cheap and look like something you could get a few hundred miles out of if you go on trails. Don't think I'd wear them on the roads. Probably good if you're running in wet conditions too.

I got them for like 25 bucks. I figured it couldn't hurt to try them out. They feel a little strange becasue they have a fairly stiff outsole, but the top is very minimalist. I have been running on trails, and they are low cut, so it feels like you could twist your ankle, alhtough it has not happened.
My legs have been feeling kind of bad, as I said, and I am wondering if it is the heat, or something about the shoes.
I saw them in the catalog too, and though the same thing... low cost, might as well try them out.

Nice try dork, the link doesn't work.
I wouldn't use them on trails if you gave me a pair. When running on uneven surfaces such as trails, you need a shoe that provides extra traction, one that is lower to the ground so you are less likely to roll your ankle. The shoe in your picture does not seem to match either of those criteria. So be careful! I would retire them to walking and next time do some better research on which type of shoe will benefit your training the most. Good luck
lets try this again, here's what i'm running in tell me what you think.

Hahahaha.
Awesome.
Those are a much better choice for trail running. They look like they have a little bit excess traction for most dry trails, but for the rainy days they look excellent.
I like your thinking. Save a few bucks on shoes and pay $2500 in medical bills after you get hurt wearing that crap.

Why would I get hurt in them? What is different about these?
they are pieces of crap, i advice against walking around in those, nice upgrade from your last pair of walmart velcro runners though.
I am going to try these. I saw them too.
I want a serious answer. Are they really bad? Should I stop running in them?
You guys were advising people to run in Reebok Classics last week. These have to be better than those.
If you say "no," why should I not run in them?
for one thing they are freeking hiking shoes, not running shoes, not built for a running footstrike.
That is all I wanted to know.
Thank you gabberwacky.
After today's lunch run, I will never run in them again.
Instead, I will stylishly wear them with pants, cause they look fairy as hell with shorts.
Thanks again.
