Eliud Kipchoge does not seem to do the alternation workouts you prescribe, with long intervals at marathon pace or a little faster and "recovery" 1000m in 3:20 or so. Do you think he would run even better if he did that kind of training? Or is the training that he does already the best possible training for him? Thanks in advance.
