The nice thing about being an adult is you can avoid morons like this.
Spend 5 minutes on Glassdoor and you'll get a sense if a company is run by the kind of people that will snoop through your social media to try to catch you jay walking on your own time.
8/10.
This is some quality trolling. Take note, aspiring trolls, this is how it is done.
I have trouble believing that you got a high ACT score.
Check your medal count against the US.

Lol, I was going to write something like this.
College coaches look at track times so missing some XC meets will not impact your chances. Now it probably will impact your chances when a college coach asks your HS coach about your morals and work ethic. Most college coaches won’t touch you with your baggage unless you have run 4:10 which is unlikely if you are only number 2 on your team. D3 is probably your future.
You deserve the suspension. You can't complain about not being there for the team when it was your own actions that resulted in it. This is not your coach's fault, it is your's. At no point in your whiney paragraph do you show an understanding of your actions and how it hurt your team and teammates. Do not walk on a college team.

I think this is exactly what karma is.. it is one thing to brag about your test scores, but you even have a party about it? you are lucky that being banned from a few races is all you get.. going around being egotistical like this is a good way for the universe to say "fuk this guy" and then you're dead. just be grateful you're still alive.
It's not clear from your post whether official practices had already begun when you "got lit." At my school, that would be a crucial distinction. Each athlete signs an agreement that they will not use tobacco, alcohol, or drugs during the season. An initial violation results in missing a portion of the season, which depends on the sport - missing 1 of 20 baseball games isn't the same as missing 1 of 7 XC meets. A second violation means forfeiting the rest of the season and potentially part of the season in the next sport in which you choose to participate. A third violation means being banned from all school sports for a year. I am confident that your school has a policy against the use of tobacco, drugs, and alcohol, too.
This is probably a troll thread, but I think it's important to recognize that an important part of being an athlete is to be willing to make all kinds of sacrifices. Part of being on a cross-country team is having integrity - unless you train on a track, your coach needs to be able to trust that you are doing what you're suppose to be doing when you're out of sight.
By joining the team you either explicitly (you signed training rules) or implicitly (the rules are stated, but you didn't sign anything) agreed not to use tobacco, drugs, or alcohol during your season.
Failing to make this sacrifice and maintain personal integrity puts your season, and the team's season, in jeopardy.
Unless you are a true stud, I would think college coaches would have second thoughts about recruiting an athlete that is willing to violate team rules simply to party. They have enough headaches to deal with already.
However, If you did this before the season (official practices) began, it is possible that your coach is going beyond the athletic department policy. In this case, I think you want to fight this if you plan to run in college. The reason you missed the first part of the season your senior year is almost certain to be part of a discussion between your HS and potential college coaches. Furthermore, you should make it clear that your HS coach should never discuss your pre-season partying with these coaches.
Well, I guess I left out some other significant information. We had a 1-week XC camp in some nearby mountains. Coach let one rip and just about the whole team heard it. I couldn't resist saying "Coach, your voice has changed but your breath is sill the same."
Do you think that had any effect on my punishment?

oops - make that still the same.
First, I'm guessing that your "high ACT score" was something under 36--in which case, no celebration was called for.
Second, if you're under 21 and you drink alcohol, you're breaking the law. "Everybody does it" (that's actually not true, and alcohol isn't required for "a decent social life") doesn't change that.
Third, if you're serious about trying to walk on to a college team you should be demonstrating to your current and future coaches that you're doing everything you can to improve. Getting "lit" doesn't qualify.
Finally, if it truly mattered to you that "the team really needs me!" then you should have avoided this situation.
But I'm inclined to think the OP was a troll. In which case, 7/10--solid work.

this is a blessing in disguise. hs xc schedule is notoriously too long with too many races. esp towards championship season where theres a slew of importsnt races ad nauseum. (esp if youre elite). id say tempo these first 3 races and feel that much more fresh when it really counts.
as for the partying and fb. honestly its kind of weird your cosch can see this sort of stuff. i think you should block your coach.
