What was the most intense week of training you ever did in HS?
Looking back at my training log I would say my senior year in the summer before cross (In Texas) the varsity guys would do a couple weeks like this during peak base mileage phase..
Monday-
AM: 4 Mile W/U 4x400 Hill sprints on a road with very steep incline 4 Mile C/D- (9 Miles)
PM: 4 Miles

AM: 8 Miles (AVG. 6:54 P/M)
PM: 4 Miles

Wednesday-
AM: 2 Mile W/U 6 Mile Tempo (AVG. 5:47 P/M) 6x300m (Avg. 48 Sec) 2 Mile C/D (11 Miles)
PM: 4 Miles
(15 Miles)
Thursday-
AM: 8 Mile Hill run (Very long and steep hills) (AVG. 7:05 P/M)
PM: Rest
(8 Miles)
Friday-
AM: 8 Miles Easy (AVG. 7:19 P/M) 4-6x 100m Strides
PM: 4 Miles
(12 Miles)
Saturday: 16 Mile Long Run (AVG. 6:17 P/M)
Sunday- Rest
Total- 76 MPW
