1238 km for Karel
1127 for Joe
they now have Scott Jurek's position on the tracker as well but it hasn't been updated since the 9th day, and Karel's now on day 14

1075 for Joe
lead now ~55 miles
quoting this so you can do the math for today...Karel did 76k, about 47 miles.

That is because Scott didn't have his tracker turned on for days during his run, so there is no data available

day 15 done:
Karel 1330 km
Joe 1212 km
these distances aren't perfect BTW, could be long or short by a few miles per day. Kalel's facebook has the exact distances and it said his day 14 was 83k (52 miles) which is about his average day.

missed a couple days but Karel didn't
1576 km after 19 days
Joe back at 1423
Scott at 1414
so a ~150km lead. that's pretty significant, obviously. about 45% done by distance. same pace would put him at 41 days, roughly.

you'll all thank me later for doing this every day...
1749 km for Karel
Scott and Joe both around 1577 km
approaching a 200km lead, which you'd guess is 3 days at this point, maybe 2.
today was ~94km (21st day).
he has surpassed the halfway point which was ~1732km according to the not-super-accurate tracking map.
1820 km
22 days down
apparently he was ~32 hours ahead of record pace at halfway in 20 days and a few hours.
if he's slow for the next few days, it's due to the rockiness of Pennsylvania
Thanks for the updates! seems like he's gonna do it

1906 km now so 86km today, pretty good in PA
1763 km for Joe
This Karel Guy hit the halfway point days faster than anyone ever before trying to set the FKT. Pretty incredible. If he keeps it up he will be the first to crack 50 mpd for the FKT on this trail.
reed, if I ever run into you, I'll buy you a beer for your service...come to think of it, I have been eyeing a couple of your KOM's that I'd like to snag... ;)
The northern part of the trail is the real AT. Less runnable. More painful.
1995 km as of today, the 24th day.
they're had very few issues it seems, with very consistent days between 45 and 55 miles, mostly over 50 miles.
he's apparently through the rockiest section in PA and will be out of the state tomorrow.
2081 km for day 25
I'm not even going to bother with Joe or Scott at this point unless Karel starts to falter.
they're both around 1915 km right now which means he's 100 miles ahead. two good days!
ok, math time. the tracker has the total length at 3417 km, but in reality it's 3520. if you assume the errors are consistent, then he's actually gone 2081*(3520/3417) = 2143 km which means he has 1377 km to go. to break the record by 12 hours (to make it an even 45 days) he has 20 days left (depending on the time he left and what not). he needs to average 69 km per day (43 miles). and then he still has an extra 12 hours to just break the record.
so far he's averaged 85.7 km per day, or 53 miles per day. record pace is 48+ miles per day.

29 days in.
leads Joe by 173 km, or about 107 miles. they say Joe put in some better days toward the end of his attempt but I don't think he makes up 2+ days. plus with how steady Karel has been, he's got to be pretty relaxed and confident, and will probably have something left for a big final push.

2502 km and into New Hampshire
Scott and Joe at 2323 km, basically right next to each other.
