Why the row? Just curious

In terms of running, it has to be core exercise.
I’d go with push-ups (and variations), Turkish get up and swings.
Deadlift (any variation, go elevated if mobility is issue)
Works the second most amount of muscle next to squats. Hits the posterior chain.
Squat (front or back)
Very functional exercise, works almost every muscle in the body and help keeps hips mobile
Overhead push press
Shoulders, hips, overall stability
What about calf raises? Thoughts?

Charlie Francis thought calf raises were counterproductive.

100% Worthless. Run hills instead.

This is what I was thinking. I normally do rows on a pulley type machine, but you can do all three of these with the Olympic bar.
In addition, you can also do bicep curls and shoulder presses with the bar. Quick workout.
I wouldn't swap out one of those compound and functional lifts to target such a small muscle. All three of the exercises I listed will work calves.
Prison cell pushups (a la Tony Horton)
Single leg / pistol squats
Mason / Russian twists (again, TH)
Pistol squats are a good way to blow out a knee or an Achilles if you don't have the good mobility (most runner's don't). I'd recommend doing pistols to a bench or box to stay on the safe side.
Not a fan of these sorry.

Running up hill! And down! Yes!
Walk down
Squat, Pull-up (overhand), Side Plank
At 70 my main goals would be to maintain as much ankle mobility and stability as possible.
Also farmers carried are very underated. Think seriously if your 70 really would really do. My vote keep it very simple and short.
Can the angle of lift be altered? E.g. if bench press is picked, can one do it at an incline and decline as well?
I'd choose bench press, rows, and deadlifts.
Ok guys why the bench press? Sigh

Do you know what the first and third ones are?

I think I like your three the best.
Do push-ups. Better.
