Ten miles to go. Fast or slow? Glory or sorrow? Even if you win one, Jim there's Jurek's nine in a row!

Yeah but he’s on course to smash this course record so Jurek definitely doesn’t have his number....

Yep, started going 17-minute pace after Foresthill. May have dropped by now, or is still walking,

Exactly the answer his fan club was expected to give. Never mind Walmsley's prior failures.

Jurek won 7 in a row. Loving the posts though.

And Walmsley fans wonder why many people don't like him.
I’m just saying that if Walmsley keeps this up, he will be almost 70 minutes faster than Jurek ever was. We don’t put asterisks next to records because a person had a number of failed attempts. Walmsley is the superior runner and the clock will show it.
Do all Trump supporters talk to themselves on message boards?

Your post makes zero sense. We don't put asterisks next to a person's name because they won a race more times than anyone else because one time someone ran faster.
Reports saying that Jim is closing in on Pointed Rocks: 94.3.
You have to be a complete idiot to not understand that Jurek is at the end of his prime, so he has an entire career of racing behind him. Of course his career stats are more impressive than a 29 year old who has been in the sport for 3 years... lol
Jurek has had far more chances to break the course record, and couldn't ever do what has only taken Jim three tries

Jurek's top competition included Ann Trason and AJW... He'd have a hard time cracking these days even in his prime.

And unfortunately Francois sat for 5 minutes at Green Gate too, and is 52 minutes behind. So, he can lose 3 minutes per mile and still win. The haters need for him to have another epic collapse to not win.
Which is very possible with Walmsley.
You really need Walmsley to fall apart. Are you even a fan of ultra’s or just here because you hate Walmsley? You guys are sad.

Cracking top 5 I meant to say.

You are an idiot. In 2015 Jurek set the Appalachian Trail speed record; covering 2,168 miles in 46 days, 11 hours, and 20 minutes. Let's see your hero, Walmsley, top that recent record.

I agree completely. I was correcting the “nine in a row”, not suggesting that Jurek > Walmsley. Walmsley is the far superior runner. Jurek himself would admit as much.

Jurek never had a DNF, and was never chicked, at Western States.
Hammond into second now through 85.2. Or is D'haene's chip just acting up again?
Lol who cares about the AT record? That has nothing to do with racing 100 miles.
