Anyone paying for a 4:13 guy these days?

Low level schools who are fully funded will give you partial. Not many power 5 schools will give more than books though. Oregon and other top programs will not let you walk on.
Junior or senior?
4:13? It will if you are female

I believe Sam Prakel ran about that in HS and he was recruited to Oregon
Psych, prakel went 4:09, but he also ran a 3:46 1500 before college
Why does your name say PA when you obviously aren't from PA? The only 4:13 guy here is going to Syracuse, and I guess that's also your answer. And I think its full.
Thank you for making the correction. Oregon doesn’t need anymore 4 minute milers and they sure don’t need a 4:13.

Not true. Addison and Wirth ran close to 4:13.
I doubt our man in the WPIAL is getting a full. I have a PA teammate whose PR is faster I believe and he’s not getting a full.

I disagree. If he an do a good 2 mile, like under 9 minutes, he can get money from a decent school.
OP what are your 2 mile and 5k times like?

If we are getting technical here, Wirth did not run 4:13, he ran 4:14, and therefore is not part of this debate. Also, Addison is a pointless endeavor in this conversation because he had already signed before he ran 4:13, so unless he is looking for hypotheticals, its the same boat as Beveridge.
To address the second part of your refutation, I say that I'm not fully certain that it is a full, but all things considered, the OP was looking for action OR money, both of which are easily possible for a 4:13 guy, so my point still stands. Also, who is this "faster" teammate that I am unaware of from PA, because unless he graduated already, there is no one faster that I know of.
@DistanceRunner68, nice snipe on me, I won't reveal the school, but you I'll give you credit.
Could be initials or just a handle or intended to masquerade.
Is it just me? Or is this thread full of hot shots who will never make it in the running world? Enjoy elite hobby jogging fellas.

It’s a play on the address of the White House. Rising senior. 9:12. I’m from Michigan.

Haha fair enough. I can respect that. I try to do the same, unfortunately when contributing to training/racing threads people figure it out.
Good luck with the upcoming season!
Faster teammate ran it last year.
2017 there were only 38 junior guys under 4:14 in the USofA. In 2018 there were 42. You telling me that the 60 some odd P5 schools with an average of 2-3 scholarships for distance guys per year can’t come up with a little money for a 4:13 guy if they really need it? The math does not add up.
You look at GVSU yet?
