Action about to get underway as the 4x100 finalists are on the track. It's all men today, except for the heptathlon.
We've also got:
8:42 ET: 1500 final (Kerr going for repeat)
9:32 ET: 400 final (LOADED race)
9:44 ET: 800 final (How fast can Saruni go?)
10:25 ET: 5k final (Fisher vs Knight vs Trouard)
Plus all the sprints and the men's team title will be decided.
Rainy and cool here in Eugene. How much will it affect the sprints?

Who says sprinters need hot weather to run fast?
Houston just smashed a 29year old 4 x 100 record of 38.23 on a cool and rainy day.
Place Team Time
1 HOUSTON Houston 38.17 SB FR MR CR
2 OHIO STATE Ohio State 38.75
3 FLORIDA Florida 38.89
4 ARKANSAS Arkansas 39.01
5 FLORIDA STATE Florida State 39.37
6 SOUTHERN MISS. Southern Miss. 39.49
7 NORTHWESTERN ST. Northwestern St. 39.63
N. CAROLINA A&T N. Carolina A&T DNF
Can Kerr get the 1500 record in the next race?
The collegiate record is 3:35.01. Meet record is 3:35.30 -
FYI. The CR in the 1500 averages out to 57.3 per 400.
-
link to a stream for those of us who dont have cable?
-
With the Texas job open. Any chance it will be Leroy Burrell?
-
.06 is too small of a margin to say that a record was smashed in a 400m race.
-
If Kerr takes it by himself at CR pace, Domanic wins

They DEMOLISHED the record! 4x1 record goes home DEVASTATED!!! -
Yea, Kerr is not going for the CR today. Chilling in 10th at a championship-style pace, 61.5 first 400

Kerr showing he’s really serious about that record, going out in 60, 2:06. Lol who believes anything this guy says. -
They really bunched up, 2:06.79 800 and they're seven wide.
-
Commentators really beating it into our brains that every second in lane 2 is extra distance... we get it jeez
-
I'm against keeping the men's and women's races separated! Can't they all just get along and run together?
Doubt Kerr will get record.
M.A.G.A... -
Kerr goes down to the Badger from Australia! Oliver Hoare ftw!
-
Oliver Hoare takes it in the home stretch! Was hoping for an upset today with the weather and that's what we got
-
....wait... you're saying that if I run in lane 2, it's longer? And even if I'm going at slow pace compared to my PR in an attempt to be in a better tactical position, I still should never stray outside the hallowed ground of lane 1????

To be fair, he said he would go for it "if the conditions are right". It would have been nice to see though -

Don't forget that rain is faster than no rain due to it lowering air density. -
Kerr goes down! Goes to show Ryun’s NCAA career wasn’t half bad for a miler. Dominance is fleeting in middle-distance.

Saying that is one of Larry Rawson's weird obsessions/tics that he has. It makes up about 1/2 his commentary on races longer than a lap. I mean why would anyone actually talk about what is happening in the race?
