Hate to disagree, but a lot of girls just ran faster than 25:30. Better luck next year kid

RIT is trash
Region takes 2
Weird race today. I'm guessing the region takes 4 teams.
John Lynch is a good coach
RIT is trash. Rest of the region is just worst
region takes 4. pretty much went as scripted in terms of top 4, just a different order. RPI and Geneseo were going to be 1-2, just didnt know the order for sure. RIT and Oneonta were going to be 3-4. Brockport had a good race but won't go. Had they beaten Oneonta they still wouldn't have gone

Man is definitely dripping with jizz right now. He's been trying to get a win in cross over Geneseo for YEARS. Honestly he's probably happier now than when RPI beat Geneseo in the DMR at nationals lol.
Also, Sean O'Connor dissapoints as usual. Not sure if it's Lynch's fault or not, that man just never fails to fall short.
RIT is Trash, region takes -1.
Regional Race Summary:
1. RPI lives up to their hype
2. Geneseo disappoints
3. RIT is trash
4. Oneonta is mediocre
5. Not enough hype for Brockport, not good enough for natis tho
6. SLU gets deported back to Canada. Maybe they'll make nationals there
7. F*ck Ithaca
8. Rowan cant even do well on their home course, which sucks. Lets never run there again
9. NYU sucks
10. Rochester's mascot is a bumblebee
Good job NYU!

You mean the guy who won everything in sight this year and finished 4th today? Yeah, huge "dissapoint"ment.
Thanks for checking in Sean, try not to feed the trolls
Back to back like I’m Jordan ‘96 ‘97

Actually, Sean is a simple upstate NY farm boy who learned to run to herd his sheep. Not smart enough to use the internet

1. RPI does live up to the hype. They look like a podium team and look like their previous number 2 ranking from earlier in the season when they stomped teams at the Purple Valley Classic. Well done to this team. They are good. Really good. Anything off the podium for this team will be a disappointment.
2. I do not think Geneseo disappointed. They have been ranked #8-13 much of the season and I think ran that level of performance today. I think they are indeed a tenth ranked team plus or minus 2 spots. Geneseo beat RPI earlier in the season but I think that was more to do with RPI having an off day rather than Geneseo being that good. Time will tell but I think Geneseo ran true today for who they are. I think Geneseo has room for improvement next weekend, they will make those improvements, and still only be no better than 8th in the country., but probably 10th-12th.
3. Congrats to RIT. Otto ran a great race. The team pulled through. RIT is not trash. My prediction is a 25th place finish at Natties.
4. Oneonta survived and advanced in my opinion. I think they did enough all year to get them to the National Championship. Their pack was not as strong and more spread out, but overall ran to where they should have. If they tighten this pack up they may move in front of RIT next weekend. I don't know if that will happen and they finish 29th as a team.
5. Brockport ran a great race. Congrats to this team. I do not think they have the season resume to get an at-large bid. They showed that the SUNYAC is the best conference in the Atlantic Region though? Good for this team, good for the SUNYAC, step your game up Liberty League!
6. SLU: I thought SLU was going to finish in third and take down RIT after getting beat in the Liberty League. I was wrong. Because they got beat by Brockport I do not see how they will get into Nationals. Atlantic Region will get 4 teams.
Congrats to the other top 10 team finishers. It has been one crazy muddy season! One more week and nothing but the best for the Atlantic teams competing at Natties! Represent the region well!

Rowan (and the rest of the New Jersey trash in this region) should lose all rights to host for all eternity. Not because Rowan did a bad job hosting (they didn't, meet ran smooth, no major issues); It's the fact that they conned the rest of the regional into believing this course was anything more than GARBAGE. Just let Geneseo host at Letchworth every year.
Anyone have a link to photos from yesterdays race?
SLU was ranked in the top 30 all year, 5th in the region coming in and didn't even underperform, Brockport just had a great race. AR should get 6

Atlantic Region: Geneseo and RPI are obviously going to Nationals. However, the 3rd and 4th place teams are a toss up. If SLU comes in 3rd, RIT 4th and Oneonta come in 5th, the region sends 5. I think this is a very likely scenario. If RIT comes in 3rd and Oneonta comes in 4th, the region send 4.
So I was right with my prediction that if RIT came in 3rd and Oneonta came in 4th, the region would only send 4 teams.
as for the individual qualifiers the region will send:
1. Hunter Phinney- Rochester
2. Dadley Ogetti -SLU
3. Nick Vielhauer -SLU
4.Chris Singer -Ithaca
5. Patrick Mortensen -SLU
6. Matt Russo - Rowan
7. Ben Haderle - NYU
Congratulations to RPI, Geneseo, RIT, Oneonta, and the individual qualifiers.
Ranking really does not mean much throughout the season. You have to look at their performance vs teams in the region and against teams in other regions. They barely beat Brockport at Saratoga, lost to Oneonta by 65 points at Pre regionals, and also lost to RIT at Liberty Leagues. They would need a miracle to get into nationals but as of right now, it is looking like this:
South: 2
Mideast: 3
Atlantic: 4
Great Lakes: 4
Midwest: 6
New England: 6
Central: 4
West: 3
