What a joke
What a joke
RIT is trash.

You people are trashing Oneonta for all the wrong reasons. Yes, they got destroyed at SUNYACS, but with their lowest score in conference meet history. Lets talk about how fucking horrendous their moustaches are. Or how their top guy is a mid distance runner pretending to play cross country. What a joke
^ Definitely someone from Oneonta trashing their own school I doubt anyone would take the time to lookup the conference history. Or to see if the number 1 is a track guy.
With a near-flawless record on the season, will the RIT Men's cross country be the next D3 NCAA champions? Heading into regionals with Tommy "Two-Ply" Papish, Evan "Don't Call Me James Bailey" Feigel, and Neil "1:16:22 Half Marathoner" Kolhatkar rounding out the deepest team in Upstate New York's history, the boys not from Troy(s) look to rise like Genny Creamer to the top. Look for Oneonta to go home DEVASTATED if they don't have their mustaches waxed by next Saturday.

lol so true. but, if you pay even a little attention to the sunyac its not hard to see that their #1, mcdonald, runs the 800 in track. not like he is a no-name in track

Since when is the 13th fastest 800 guy in the region not a no name in track?

Especially the SUNYAC which used to be half way decent in its day. 50 points score when Cortland, Geneseo and Plattsburgh were good meant something. Now it just means you're the banana peel on top of the pile of garbage that is the other teams. Kudos.
This!! What happened to the sunyac?? Plattsburgh hasn't been good since Lynch went to RPI, Oneonta is on the same path, but luckily to still be hanging on to recruits left behind by coaches that haven't worked there in years, Cortland doesn't have that excuse but Steve Patrick has just stopped trying all together? Is Geneseo the only one left who cares?
I bumped a rail last night so I could stay awake to take my kids trick or treating and I didn't sleep a wink. Wife was pissed but the extra hours gave me an opportunity to confer with the greatest analysts in the biz and create the truest objective tier list.
1. RIT-Everyone hops on the "RIT is Trash" train just like they said Philly was trash before the Eagles were trash before they won the Superbowl. RIT isn't a consistent powerhouse but they can get a nice couple year dynasty going.
2. RPI-I cannot spell this school. Ren-sa-leer? I'm glad everyone just says "RPI." Anyways, I always thought they'd beat Geneseo. I'm not too confident about that now, but I'd look like a false fan if I backed out so I'm going all in.
3. Geneseo-I always keep a cooler and some solo cups next to the Halloween candy so I can pour some liquid patience out for the dads. Got Genny this year, cheap as all hell. Had a couple myself and might blow up the bathroom later.
4. John Hopkins-I don't even know if these guys are in the AR or not but I like them
5. SLU-Some poster above me said the girls were hot and I agree with him. Some may think its creepy for an old balls like me to check out college students, but looks are free and are like an oasis in the desert after spending two decades with my wife's Arby's-tier meatflaps.
6. NYU-Pretty rough spot for a squad that imports athletes from all over the U.S.
7. TCNJ-This school's specialty is showing up for conferences and regionals. Can't write them off just because they were pure poo the rest of the season.
8. Brockport-Forgot this was a team. Had to throw them in somewhere.
9. Ithaca-Same situation as SLU.
10. Rowan-Got kicked out of the Applebee's near Glassboro. Supposedly, there's a drink limit-stupid for what's supposedly a sports bar atmosphere. All I wanted was a highball but instead I had to take a Lyft home. Wife was pissed at me and turned down all offers for genital genocide that night. Didn't talk to me at all on the ride back to get my car the next morning lol.

To be fair, I was referring to the SUNYAC, since they are the only relevant teams other than RPI on this thread. And the fact that the 12 other kids ahead of him were from irrelevant teams (with the exception of 1 RPI and 2 Geneseo). But okay, keep hating on a 1:55 sophomore who stomps on those 12 kids ahead of him in XC

Lol, dude, chill out you run 1:55 in the 800, we get it. Being good at the conference level still makes you irrelevant, don't worry :)
Maybe you should move up in distance to the 1500 Ethan. You’re range is very impressive but I believe you’re spending too much time at the opposite poles. You might be able to be 9th in the region at 1500.
Track on a per event basis is more individualistic than XC. It doesn't matte if the overall team is irrelevant, you're arguing relevance because of 800 performance-one event where you get smoked because you only run 1:55 lol.
RPI wins. SUNY G comes close but falls just short. Oneonta and SLU run strong, NYU returns to Nationals after a year off. Kingstedt comes in just behind the O'Connors. Grant finally beats Sean for the first time this season. Those three are AA. Will go into further detail soon.

** Denotes athlete who qualifies for Nationals with team
It’s nice that you put in all this work but this analysis is garbage for so many reasons...
NYU made nationals last year and the year before. No chance this year, that team blows. We rip RIT, but they will be no worse than 4th. Too much track talent. RPI wins via better low sticks.

Here to set the record straight. Didn’t make any of these posts, heard about it from a teammate. I run the 800 because I enjoy it. Can we please all go back to talking about cross country now

Nice cover up attempt. No backpedaling allowed. Just let it go.
