After a terrible outdoor season in which I only ran 2:20, 5:01, and 11:37 (after a 2:17, 4:52, 10:48 winter, and 17:49 xc season), I only have one race left. I'm wondering how long my rest after this should be. As of now, I'm thinking about 10 days, because I want to recover (I feel a little burnt out), but I also want to maintain most of my fitness.
I'm gunning for sub 17 next season in xc, and I plan on running about 600 miles this summer.

I am a junior right now, so this upcoming fall will be my final cross country season, and last chance to break my big goal of sub 17!
