What do you call multiple fartlek runs?
The same word for multiple farts.

Did Kiprop test positive on both the A sample and the B sample, or is this like Lagat’s situation where he only tested positive on the A sample?
I came to this thread for the fart talk, whaaaaaaaaaat

He might have started young, but I think he went ham when he was in 3:26 shape. He would toy with the competition and do Fartleks in races and pass everybody starting from last position. It was just like Dibaba when she was on a mission going for all middle distance records. I wonder how she never gets caught.
She did get caught, its just that IAAF rules protect the doper.
If you were caught in California, in a hotel room, filled with South American cocaine, the officials don't say "well, we've never seen you sell the drugs, so we have to assume, you're not a dealer and this is all a mix up. " No. You go to jail.
When they caught her at training camp, and in the team's possession were hundreds of vials of EPO and steroids, everyone present should have been banned. What shocks me most is how many people still defend her. "Well, she never failed a test...what's your proof?"
She did fail a test. The test of don't be anywhere near EPO, especially when you have a completely unbelievable WR of 3:50.
She's a doper. Kiprop is a doper. The sad reality is, they likely all are dopers.
Early and often.
Assuming the failed drug test is confirmed, he might have started doping after his poor performances at 2016 OG or 2017 WC. If an athlete has been a world beater and then starts to decline, I could see how the temptation to dope would be very high.
But of course he might have been doping all along too.
Lagat’s clean sample was bunk. The IAAF worked hard to get him off. That rat was as guilty as they come.
The Sabadell nonsense was just farcical. You have some of the world's best athletes in every other room of the motel, yet in one room belonging to their physio, a tonne of epo and testosterone/steroids and nobody gets banned. Just bullsh!t.

Imagine that. ?
I think about this:
It could be always but it could be after a decent career the pressure to win gets to them and they give in.
I see nothing wrong with a long career that "gives in" to the inevitability of age.
I grew up admiring Gaston Roelants who kept competing and got "slower" with age but was still seen as a great competitor.
Bill Rogers is another.
I don't see a problem with a love of the sport that keeps you going even though you're slowing down.
We all do, no matter what level we're at.

He is confirmed positive on both A + B. A qualified guess would be he was forced by his management to take the drugs before his winther buildup in november 2017. He was communicated to go for the 5000m 2018 so that sounds very truly Does EPO work effective even for 800-1500m ?
Ask El G and Ramzi.
I believe he went dirty in 2012 based on two different interviews of his.
That was the season he was saying if he didn't break 3:30 he was going to move up to 5000. He'd been stuck at 3:30-3:31 for several seasons and was getting frustrated.
There was also an interview discussing a new drug that was on the circuit. There were whispers about it. The Brojos made mention of it. A lot of people seem to have forgotten but there was talk of it that year. Then he runs 3:28. The infamous Paris 5000 with six men under 12:50 and ten men under 12:56. There was a 7:54 steeple. And a couple 7:56s. Times were blazing fast that year with with rumblings of a new drug.

That just sucks. I remember when setting a world record or just a fast time was exciting.
Now- drugs.
There was a picture of someone like Brendan Foster or David Bedford running in a heavy rain, the inside lane of the track with water, setting a World Record for I believe 10,000.
The 70's were actually a good time for this sport.
I never thought I'd miss them.
