Hi all. just wondering if you could outline or send me a link to any good hm plans that you recomnend.

ran a flat course 5k in 17.29 at weekend. averaging about 25 miles a week over last couple of months as we have a baby born in January and a toddler. so have not been able to get in long runs. just mostly 5 mile easy or 20 minute tempo runs with a warm up and cool down mile. 37 year old.

any advice on when i should get in some hill workouts and how i should plan out my 15 weeks to the race would be really appreciated.

did a half marathon in just under 85 mins in august last year. that was my last race prior to the 5k at the weekend which suprisingly ended up a 5k pb at the weekend.

i was cramping in calf and hamstring near end of the half marathon last august. was quiet a hot day so alot of sweating may have been part of it.

any advice for my 15 week plan really appreciated.

no need to overthink it.

run long, slow distance and long intervals.

100+ miles a week

10 x 1k at half marathon pace with 400m rest once a week

20 x 400m at 10k pace with 100 meter rest once a week

Easy every other day

Sunday 30 kilometres at marathon pace

i dont think 100 miles will be a fit for me.

max 45 miles at peak of the plan is where i got to last year. just dont have the free time.

is daniels half marathon plan a good one to follow?

what sort of hill workouts should i include and at what stage of the plan?
