On the contrary, I think more testing is a good thing.

Cool story bro.
You just mad that Rudisha, Kiplagat, and Kipchoge are all at 4+, just like Kiprop? Co-incidence?

Oh...just because they got lucky and bagged a big fish from Kenya? What about the UK & the U.S.? Why hasn't anyone been bagged in either of those countries? Clean or is something fishy going on? It seems like the only ones getting bagged these days are Kenyans, Morrocans & Russians. I guess they are the only countries doping?

It said that legally, it couldn't name any names.
Bombs will drop soon, however. This is exactly how it will happen- from a leaker that will make it available to a paper, magazine, etc..[/quote]
Paula Radcliffe has been known to leak.
Almost all of the athletes from Kenya, USA, Jamaica and Russian under the 4+ classification have served bans or are being investigated for doping. Kenya has 53 sportsmen and women among the 363 while Russia has the largest number of athletes with suspicious readings.
Banned substances
Although the 4+ classification does not necessarily mean an athlete has doped – given that some athletes use banned substances for medical reasons – all banned Kenyan athletes are listed in the 4+ classification in the document.
Not news. But I'm loving how a rag like The Standard is considered unimpeachable journalism by a bunch Americans on this board.

Not saying you're wrong, but how do we know that the document referred to by The Standard is the one linked to by rekrunner?
Oh, no. Not at all. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Well then...what's the scoop rekrunner? This is your area of expertise...isn't it? And since you reside in Europe (UK?), what are you hearing over there? Clean or some funny business? Again, only the Kenyans are the ones getting bagged these days with two big fish in the last year or so (Sumgong & Kiprop).
The "Standard" says: "The confidential IAAF document titled "IAAF Anti-Doping Programme – 2015 Testing Statistics" ..." That is the document I linked on the IAAF website, although it is not confidential.

I just looked at the list of "bagged" athletes, and they come from all over. I'm no expert in this area, beyond what I find from official public sources. Since the exposure of the failed bribery/extortion attempts involving the IAAF, I have not heard about any "funny business". If it helps, I am sympathetic to the plight of innocent athletes impacted by a blanket ban.

A bunch of posters are looking awfully foolish now.
One of the major sponsors of the Sport is US based. How the system now works is ' some" athletes will be caught and let off due to them ingesting tainted meats, kissing, breathing fresh air etc. The other positives will never see the light of day.
The linked document on the IAAF site and the one The standard are referring to are two different things.
The one the standard is referring to is a list like the one that had Evan Jager's name on it last year. It's an internal document to be utilized for target testing.
The 4+ is just that ++++ and comes with a likely doping moniker.
So try again on making people think the data is already out there. It isn't.

It's just not even a possibility to you that athletes in Kenya or Morocco are more likely to dope?

Actually its even more embarrassing for those like RekRunner who pretend that Kenya is just like Western nations (except poorer).
The Standard is the leading paper in Kenya, and a 12 year old could write better journalism than that.
'Racist' LetsRunner on reading the Kenyan Standard link : 'Wow, it's reported in the leading Kenyan newspaper that 363 athletes have been caught likely doping. This could be the end of athletics'.
Rekrunner when reading the Kenyan Standard link ; 'LOL, Kenya is third world shinhole where the people are backward savages. Boy can they run though. But this African 'newspaper' isn't worth wiping my posterior with. A quick Google check will prove that the native idiot who wrote it hasn't got a clue. Then I can tell the racists on here that they've got it wrong about Kenyans, and I'll feel smug. EPO doesn't work anyway.'
WTH?

More likely to dope or more likely to get "caught?" You forget about the FB leaked document on the 2016 "likely doping" status with 5 & 3 star categorized Jager & Rupp. What's up with that? Just because they pass the targeted drug controls all is well & good? How in the hell did they get listed with such a high priority "liklely doping" status in the first place?
http://www.letsrun.com/news/2017/07/say-aint-fancy-bears-hack-reveal-many-track-fields-biggest-stars-likely-doping-see-latest-fancy-bears-documents/Also, look back at Operation Galgo which very few of the implicated runners tested positive. One of the bigger name implicated, Reyes Estévez, passed all his drug controls. Another big name was caught transporting his own blood bag to a transfusion site! ?. If wasn't for these organized doping rings getting broken up or the stupidity of some athletes, we would never know about any of this since many never test positive.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operaci%C3%B3n_GalgoHere's a scoop for 2016 from a recent WADA report (which I found reported on the front page of letsrun.com): Looks like the countries with the most "bagged" athletes are: Russia (30), India (21), Morocco (14), and USA (11), followed by France (9), Saudi Arabia (9), Romania (9), Italy (8). Kenya has 7, and Ethiopia has 5, Netherlands has 1, and UK has 0. For all of this talk about "lack of testing" in East Africa, the best source by far for ADRVs remains in-competition urine tests: - 107 out of 205 ADRVs were from in-competition urine tests - 44 are from OOC urine tests - 4 are from in-competion blood tests - 3 are from OOC blood tests - 47 are non-Analytical ADRVs (breaking other rules, including ABP; there were 25 ABP violations across all WADA sports, and of Russia's 30 ADRVs, 21 were non-analytical)https://www.wada-ama.org/en/resources/general-anti-doping-information/anti-doping-rule-violations-adrvs-report

Almost there, but not quite all there. Click the "Standard" link, and read as far as the second sentence. Click the IAAF PDF link, and read the title.
