Anyone with feedback on these?
They are in the new Road Runner Sports catalog. They are listed at 9.9 oz. Some stability. Perhaps similar to Nike Zoom Elite. I'm thinking of giving them a whirl. Good cosmetics IMO. I haven't heard any first hand reports.
Just got them a few days ago and have been on short runs with them for past three days. Very impressed so far. Extremely lightweight and fit like a sock. I went to the running shop considering trying the Nike Free's, but found these to be nearly as light and comfortable. And of course they offer more stability. Plus I'm not sure about the Free's yet. Anyway, I would compare these to a racing flat, but higher profile and a bit heavier.

Have you ever run in the Saucony Grid Azura 2000 or the original Saucony Grid Swerve (from 1999, red/white/blue)? If so, how do they compare? I absolutely loved those two shoes, and have yet to find anything comparable.
The tangent has a very low heel height and a firm midsole, NOT like the Elite which is very soft and has a normal heel height. You need to have average to wide normal volumed feet to fit in them though.
I've got the current Azura, and ran in the Swerves. I tried the Tangent on, but haven't run in it. The tangent is lighter and less posted than the Swerve was (also more curved, I think), and slightly more stable (motion control, whatever you call it) than the Azuras. I didn't buy it because I already had the Azuras.
I have a narrow foot, and the Tangent fit pretty well. If it had been out on the market when I bought the Azuras, I probably would have gone for the Tangent.
The Tangents are relatively light and very smooth at toe-off. The fit is a little snugger in the width than some other Saucony shoes. They are cushioned and stable - probably as much protection one could get from a 10 oz shoe. The heel is low compared to other Sauconys, but a bit higher than the DS Trainer or regular racing flats.
Like others said, it does have a heel height more like a flat (not sure on the measurements). It's posted, and has some midfoot stability in the way of a rigid shank piece, but it's extremely flexible in the forefoot, which is nice. Haven't run in them, though.
Dang, I thought this thing died a couple of weeks ago with no response.
Thanks for the feedback!
Others?
First run in them today. Easy 4. So far, so good. Good initial impression.
I thought I'd love the Tangent, but I don't. It's designed for a heel striker and the forefoot feels flat. Everything else is true in terms of the support and weight.
