Of all the people listed, it seems like Coach B is the one who would care the MOST if Rupp wins. Just the very idea of the NOP seemed to set him off.

That's because he knows the insides of it all, and I think he has worked some of the people over there at one point. That is why he is disregarding rupp, and why most of them are disregarding Hasay.
He feels NOP are cheaters, and does not want to support a cheater.
Who?
My question is "how many sub 2:10 marathoners has coach B coached?" Or any of the coaches on the panel?
I'm rooting for Galen because he is an actually quality elite marathoner - something America has not had since Ryan hall. I'm all for pushing the limits. In fact, you have to push the limits to be elite.
Best quote from coach B is this: "I respect that they’re willing to push to the limits of every single thing you do in life to get there. [But] number one, that’s never been my approach."
Alberto is the best coach in America right now because he actually tries to have his athletes compete with the best of the best, and is willing to push the limits to get there. I believe he is in the grey area on some things, but hasn't broken any USADA rules. Until there is any proof of that, please stop comparing his athletes to Russians who have been PROVEN to be doping, and to a far worse degree than NOP could ever be doing.
Go Galen! Go Jordan!
This is no other than Coach Butthurt. But seriously, he's no more of a rubbing expert than anyone else on these boards.
It’s going to be a real mind fck when it comes out that coach b is coach JS and people start respecting him

I’m pretty sure this site has some experts on rubbing it.
Anybody listen to Meb's interview with Mario Fraioli on the Morning Shakeout podcast? Towards the end he asks him what Americans he's excited for, especially at Boston. Meb said the men's side has some catching up to do and they're still waiting for that next great talent. No mention of Rupp at ALL. On the women's side he's super excited about Amy, Shalane, and Molly... "And Hasay is there too." As an after thought.
Loved it.
"Coach B" as in Brojo, right?

Haha, love it! #gomeb
He'd be more of a hero if he had the guts to give his name.
Hi runn, what's your name?
why not grow a set and put your name behind your words coach?
He wouldn't say that if his name was given. Guaranteed. Equivalent to talking carp behind someone's back. Anyone can do it. Perhaps in some cases it's genuine, and in others it's merely bitterness. Could be a bit of both. But anyone can talk carp behind anyone's back. He is definitely not a hero.

Here's the transcript...
Mario: “Now that you’re retired. What’s exciting you about the sport of running today?”
Meb: “…It’s exciting to be on the sidelines to be able to see ‘Hey who’s got it all now. Who’s going to be the next person especially for the United States, who the next person is.’”
Mario: “And who is that for you in the US? Right now, specifically?”
Meb: “I think there’s a lot of great guys in the 5k and 10k, and the marathon is still a little bit of a challenge. You know. I think there’s a lot of speculation. A lot of speculation. And investigation. All those things. We haven’t got one in the marathon, I don’t think yet. But, you know even though, I’m excited on the women’s side though. With Shalane, and with Amy, and you know so many others. Molly Huddle now starting…doing Boston. It’s pretty exciting. You know, so many others. But on the men’s we definitely have a little bit more work to do on that. I think the women’s trials’ going to be crazy in 2020.”
Mario: “Since you’re not running Boston, and it’s coming up a couple weeks from now lets talk about the race. A strong American field on both sides, mens and women’s. Who do you like? “
Meb: “Well, Boston 2018’s going to be exciting on the women’s board. I think because now you know I think Molly Huddle…I think she could…I’ve always maybe said she could be the person, but I’ve always believed in Shalane as well and I think Shalane did her thing. Uhhhhhhh…I mean Hasay is there, but…at the same time… I think it’s exciting. I mean…I can’t wait to see it.”
Pretty obvious to me who Coach B is. Upset that his athletes (Save one race) have gotten a thumping from ol' Rupp. All these people live in the grey area, and with focus on Rupp and Alberto, the best defense is to point figures so maybe your group isn't looked at so much.
what the big deal with putting a name behind something? anyone who doesn't is usually scared of something and usually because theyre doing something wrong and don't want other to find out...
not fooling anyone lol, rojo i expected more out of you, but now that i think about it, i'm not surprised
We've merged the three threads on this topic into 1.

I feel the same as Coach B, and I don’t have athletes getting thumped by Rupp. Riddle me that.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
