Are NP/PAs more humble? Usually.
More ‘accomplished’? Depends what you mean. In terms of experience, of course they’ll have more than an intern, interns are fresh out of school! Intelligent? Doubt it although they’ll have more practical knowledge. In a few years the former intern may be supervising the PA.
PAs/NPs do well when they are trained to one specialty (ICU, subspecialty Med clinic, etc). In primary care they are a disaster. However residents have to rotate every month.
If they focused on one thing, they’ll be better than the PA.
As far as the coat thing, I don’t think most people in medicine actually care.
