You think Steve Cram was dirty? His career appears to be about as natural as you could get. Teenage prodigy running age record times when his parents could barely afford to buy him a pair of proper running shoes, constantly injured in his prime etc.
The sad thing about Crammy is out of Coe, Ovett, and himself, he was the one youngest enough (just) to have been theoretically been able to take part in the EPO madness. Unfortunately, he couldn't string two training sessions together without getting injured after 88. He was still only 32 at the Barcelona olympics. Imagine a fit Cram on EPO?

Hicham clean give me a break you white knight snow flake.
what makes you think El G doped ... and who is the real wr holder then
I'm assuming this is why you think El G was dirty
-He ran in the EPO Era - Others from that era were caught (Balco scandal)
-He was protected- why would they protect an African runner ? makes much more sense to protect euro/american runners (ex: Farah) They didn't protect the best 1500 runner of this generation, Kiprop, when he was caught doping
-His results are unrealistic - he ran fast times consistently dopers usually have a extremely rapid drop in times and then disappear. Also, there are records older than his 1500/mile (LJ, shot put, 3k ...)
Stop being such a snowflake

Because the president of the IAAF at the time was from Africa?

Stop being such a snowflake
- training partners busted.
- dirtiest middle nation per capita
- El G product of GDR type system
- Has never denied doping.
- Moroccan 90s team only one in history to employ a full time dentist and E l G infamously needed braces at age 30.
-No proven ability to run a decent 800m.
Retired the very same year effective testing for (full throttle) EPO doping came in when he was still earning millions each year in appearance money.
Even if in fantasy land El G never doped, his WRs and titles were made possible by his teammates doping.
-North Africans trained much the same way as Seb Coe. I get there are many weirdos here with an obsession over Kenyan 'natural born runners', but North Africans? Suddenly able to run 3 or 4 seconds faster than Coe, with little difference in training, but only during the period in which EPO was available with no testing?? Coincidence much?
Even North Africans competing for Spain, France, Belgium have been busted regularly. They certainly take their peas and carrots in that culture.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
