I second that, to me it’s unfathomable that Tirunesh would allow any of her sisters (or brother) to drag the country or family into disrepute this way.

Wow, what a sad bunch of losers letsrun has. She may be doping, as may every world class runner on the planet may be doping.
Two things that are certain though is she has better running form and a better physique than nearly every female runner she competes against.
Thanks Columbo. I will sum it up for you in one line: Yes, Tirunesh cheats too.

Well yeah

I bet you have a schoolboy crush on her? ???
Ethiopia banned Jama Aden from entering the country so Genzebe has moved to Spain to continue to be coached by him.
I'd usually agree with this thought process but my reservation is over the issues surrounding her coach Aden.
Also Lance is a beautiful example of dopers sticking at it for the long run. Not just doing a smash and grab job.

Not even tired after running 2:31 last k, the other girls are crawling on the ground and can't blow out a candle, Dibaba looks like she is ready to run another race. WTF, when are we gonna get serious about doping. This POS is ruining our sport.
Agreed. First, ir was Rupp and Farah, now this. When will it stop?!

That's not accurate; there are many dopers that had very long careers before they're were banned/sanctioned. For starters you have former WC silver medalist Marta Domínguez (ABP sanction/Operation Galgo), former Olympic & WC gold medalist Mariya Savinova (EPO & steroids admission) & former Chicago winner & 2nd fastest marathon ever Liliya Shobukhova (ABP sanction).

A) Russia does not count... they were caught encouraging athletes to cheat and covering them.
B) There are always exceptions to every trend that do not disprove it.
In this day in age, every very successful doper usually was caught in within an Olympic cycle or maybe a little longer... Tirunesh Dibaba has literally been representing Ethiopia since 2002.
The chances that Radcliffe, Makhloufi, Mo and Usain were not doping is negligible in my eyes. Tirunesh is a very poised champion, but just as dirty. Money and fame are extremely powerful drugs in themselves. And once you are "too big to fail" in the corrupt athletics world it's just a matter of not upsetting the powers that be.
Coleman is the new untouchable, IMO.

Huh?...Russia doesn't count? Yes, they do - they have over 40 ABP sanctions spanning over several years and not all of them were cover-ups (ridiculously high off-scores in many cases).
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biological_passportAnd according to this report, it sounds like some Ethiopians are being encouraged to cheat. A "high-profile" female runner using a one month cycle of EPO & HGH and told precisely when to stop to avoid glowing IC. And weak OOC testing and cover-ups to boot. Imagine that occurring in Ethiopia - can't be, right? ?

You forgot Rupp. Or is it just coincidence that there are no Americans on your list. Lewis? Johnson? Jaeger?
YES!!!!

I agree with jamin. *shudders*
Someone has to be the best. The winner should be the least taxed after a race. Probable doper, but it’s ridiculous when people claim “looking relaxed” as evidence of doping.
I disagree. Especially when you blow away a world record in the process.

As I’ve said before, that year she shattered the WRs and won by 100s of meters she’s was probably doped to the gills. She’s not doping anymore so she’ll be fine. Without a positive test she’s innocent.
Only in America do we tout “we must follow the constitution” and in the same breath assume people are guilty without evidence.

Yup. Has claimed the throne from Bolt as the most egregious and obvious doper in the sport. An absolute disgrace. The IAAF's corrupt and useless anti-doping agency seems content to do nothing about the situation. Just as they do nothing about the men in the women's 800 meters, the countless EPO-loaded "18-year-old" 2:04 marathoners, and so on. The sport is a joke, and the legit clean hard-working athletes are the ultimate victims.
STFU! What financial stake you have? None.
It was probably one of the best competitive 1k's ever run indoors. Dibaba ran 2:31 low for the last 1k (Mutola's world record is 2:30.94). Muir ran 2:31 high, probably as fast as the carefully paced 2:31.93 that she ran last year on the same track (and which is the third fastest indoor time ever). Hassan must have been sub 2:33.
An awesome race - I don't think any one of them is a fraud.

There's a difference between requiring guilt beyond a reasonable doubt for a criminal conviction in court and expecting people not to have any opinion about anything unless it has been proved beyond a reasonable doubt.
