He ran the 1600 leg at the Big Tem Meet last year. Probably trying him out but guessing that he will now run the 1200 leg this year and hand off in 1st.

Yea why is he running the mile? This is going to kill his speed when it comes time to race the 800.

He needs to be doing some 400/200 races and stop with the extra mileage. Hopefully his coach is smart and keeping him at a max of 20 miles a week.

No you only go down on races. 800 runner should be doing 400/200 and an occasional 100. This is common knowledge in the coaching world. Doesn’t take a genius but thank you for the compliment.

This is an incredibly sexist comment. If Creese was female, you'd be praising a 4:15 mile.

This was a big step forward for caz. He had become addicted to getting his face farted in before all workouts and races. It was initially meant to simulate oxygen debt but he evolved and it started helping his performances. He realized he needed to back off the gas so he has stopped cold turkey. I agree. He needs a lot more ovetraining work from the look of it. You could run that mile time off 1:53+. Mind you they all seem to specialise nowadays
