They've got XL and Large on RunningWarehouse already. No mediums. If you're medium or small, I'd pay the piper and buy one at the fair. $110 seems a bit much, however.

Wait for it to go sale at TJmaxx for 1/3 of the price. It's not like you made the Olympic team.
I bet most of the sale is by charity runners. For the longest time, I had no idea you had buy these.

The 2018 Boston Marathon will be my first. I am still deciding if I should buy the jacket despite how ugly it looks. Do these jackets have any prestige despite the fact that anyone can purchased them online and are sold at Marshalls and Burlington Coast Factory Outlet stores. What are your thoughts? Thanks!
Sure, buy the stupid jacket. Don't forget to wear it for your local turkey trot. All the other hobby joggers will be impressed.

Buy one, but keep it packed away. Its something you'll enjoy seeing again in 20 years, but don't wear it around because you look like a tool.
If you buy it, wear it with pride. Not just for marathon weekend.

Mostly, and preferably, I wear it at times wear I hope it doesn't draw any attention: early morning or late runs, XC/BC skiing ,trail runs where others around my pace have clearly run Boston and it's not as special and saves me from buying some other jacket, etc.
Weak. You're embarrassed of the jacket. Get rid of it already. I'm buying one and will be rocking that unicorn with pride.

I don't do bumper stickers and I don't do race jackets. Some people like to advertise. The Boston Marathon jacket is just another bumper sticker that you wear. Not for me.
Omg. You are so f@@king cool. Can I be like you one day.
Probably not. If you want to try, start with ending your questions with a question mark.
Don't be this putz, cheating to a BQ then buying the celebration jacket and wearing it in a "race" before going to Boston.
What a tool.

The jacket is available in all sizes at Adidas online store. There is a 15% off coupon code available for new e-mail addresses.
The 2017 jacket went on sale at Adidas website for 50% off a few weeks after the race and was available in all sizes for at least several weeks.
I did not see the 2017 jacket at Marshalls/TJ Max until many months after the race and when I saw it they only had a few in XL. I don't shop there often so they may have had a better selection weeks earlier. I seem to recall the price was about $40 which is not much savings over buying it a few weeks after the race for 50% off directly from Adidas in any size. If you really want one then I would buy it just before the race from Adidas website with 15% code or if you can live without it if you miss it then wait until after the race to see if it goes on sale for 50% in your size. There was little size availability in most marathon items from Adidas website after the race when items went on sale. The Celebration jacket was one of the few items that was available in all sizes for some time.
I wonder how many of the 2018 jackets were made and what the availability will be after the race compared to the blue and white jacket from 2017. I would think the men's 2017 jacket was a more popular color than the 2018 jackets.
For $55, it seems worth the wait. Especially if they are already setting them up for sale on RW. It sounds like they realize it's not a popular item.
Anybody find one for cheaper than $110 online yet?
I would just wait to buy it off Adidas website once it goes on sale. I bought one with the 15% off email code before the marathon so I could wear it around Boston marathon weekend but at this point might as well wait imho.
A few weeks is 2 weeks or 3 weeks? No size is out of stock, so they must have plenty left.

I imagine many like me waiting. $110 is a big chunk of change.
The jacket went straight to my closet. I was going to wear it one day, but my wife stopped me. She said it was too loud. Waste off money.

Indeed. Kit yourself out with your Boston jacket and Nike Vaporflys for Ultimate Hobbyjogger status!
My last marathon I won a jacket for being top 10. Is it ok for the LR posters to wear that one?
Just asking....dont want to crush spirits of the local hobby joggers in the local 5k/
