The benefits of a country managing their own currency far outweigh the difficulty/complexity of the job. As an example, when Spain gave up on their currency and switched to the Euro, Spain lost the ability to discount debt or influence economic activity with money operations.
There's no way every country on Earth would give up their currency. And then there's the fact most of the rest of the world has no use for crypto currency.
